The smell of the hotel is amazing! We had to ask what the smell was before we left. Handing out warm cookies as you check in, from a warm cookie drawer behind reception, is luxury. Breakfast was delicious.
The location is gorgeous, on top of its own hill overlooking Dunblane. The pool and sauna (one hot sauna, one steam room) are decent, albeit in their own seperate building. The employees are very friendly and helpful (and you get a delicious cookie when checking in). The kitchen especially the restaurant in the evening is a luxury experience, which we enjoyed on our last night there. The food was beyond delicious. The room is pretty standard and is kept very clean.
The flat was lovely, very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was such a nice touch and added a bit of luxury to the trip.
