The services are too slow for example although asking for birthday cake before arrival by email and by the booking application and upon arrival and calling two times i didn't receive the birthday cake until next day with wrong name on it which was really frustrating the check in time was terrible it took me around 20 min of waiting and 10 minutes for check in and for me i consider it was over priced

We went over Easter and the buffet was carnage. What’s more we could only get into two a la carte restaurants in the 10 days. I don’t think this hotel can qualify as “ultra” all inclusive. That would imply you never put your had in your pocket. That’s definitely not the case as any branded spirits are extra. Also, wouldn’t expect the mental towel dash for beds at an ultra all inclusive. If you like going out there isnt much around. I went for a run around the peninsula and the area is still very much in development stage (NB this will not disturb your stay at Rixos, it’s purely if you are looking to go out for the night). Dubai is 45 mins away. I think many have said the hotel is a bit dated but in all honesty it didn’t bother me in the slightest

Hotel is nicely laid out complex and easy to find your way around. Set on a little private beach with its own bar. Staff very friendly and helpful. We asked to move rooms due to noise from the round and was moved immediately the following day. This hotel is very good value for money. Bud on tap, lowenbrau, Stella (5% not the UK watered down version), and Becks in cans. The evening curry in the buffet was always decent. We went with two families of 4 with both sets of kids being 10 and 8. Enough to keep them occupied with kids club, pool, beach and beach football pitch. Sports bar was good had all the premier league games on.

The room was old and very used. Definitely needs update and repair.

We liked everything except the room condition. Excellent entertainment program, very good and delicious choice of food, a lot of snacks and beverages everywhere, wonderful program for children and multiple choice of sport activities for adults. The staff is very polite and kind.And a very pleasant surprise- free upgrade of room! Definitely a very good value for money.

Rooms setup was a bit shocking and disappointing. I made a reservation of a premium room with sea view. It was really poor and the view was on the main road with Banan Beach view. My other friends got a complimentary upgrade from standard room to premium room, while they only paid for a standard room. However, the hotel didn’t offer me any upgrade although I paid for it.

Facilities and amenities of the hotel were really good. Food and beverages were great and full of varieties.

We had such a great time in Rixos this holiday. We appreciate the service in the resort and the quality. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. the entertainment team puts so much effort into the programs. Ahmed from the entertainment team did an amazing job in the water polo competition and we absolutely had a blast.

The variety of food at the lunchtime buffet was limited. Some of the food places that were supposed to be open weren’t open, for example the Burger van. The outside toilets near the pool were smelly.

Facilities for the kids were great. Quality of the food in the A La Carte restaurants was very good. Staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel itself and rooms were clean.

Quality of food was average and the All Inclusive offerings were very limited/cheap. For anything decent you have to pay an upgrade. Timings of what food and drink you can get from where was also confusing. Wifi terrible. On site pharmacy overpriced (150dhs for basic bottle of suncream)
