How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No complaints at all and we are fussy
Great Location, very friendly staff, best breakfast we have had in a hotel all freshly prepared could not fault it. From 1pm to 5pm they supply free cakes, tea coffee etc. a lovely touch Immaculately clean everywhere

Everything was fine.
Location was perfect, great park just opposite the street and nice small places to eat around. We were accommodated in an apartment with a great view of St. Stephen cathedral and the city, which is memorable from the balcony. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Very clean and cozy suit.

The location of the hotel was really convenient close to the Mitte Wien. The room was spacious and breakfast had a good selection. The hotel has a terrace restaurant, salon and outside seating.

Our room for 4 nights overlooked the city and it was beautiful! Sonja, the manager, helped us with a trip to Salzburg and Munich …. transportation and train tickets. She was so kind and also helpful with dinner recommendations in the city.

The single bed was kind of small (just cause it´s a single bed does not mean it should be so narrow). Also the bathroom door and closet door interfered with each other, and getting to the bathroom light switch outside was awkward since you had to close the bathroom door to reach it. I would not have minded if the price was not so high. The breakfast was really too expensive.
Excellent location 5 mn from Stefanplatz. Nice view. Large bathroom. Perfect temperature.

Perfectly situated, stunning view from the top floor, superb breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to be back in Vienna and return to this gem of a hotel.

The room is surprisingly small, and the bed is not a real bed, as it (for single occupancy) is pushed against the wall, like a fixed element. The hotel comprises of a reception downstairs and rooms on the upper floors, while the rest of the building (including elevators) is used by office staff/home owners.
The hotel is at an excellent location. It looks and feels fresh and clean. The balcony with a view is super. Also, the cleaning staff was very accommodating to my working schedule.

I really liked this hotel a really very comfortable bed, a very comfortable room, everything is thought out and a lot of attention is paid to details, for example, a very beautiful wine glass, well, I drank water from it I also liked such a detail that there was always a vase with apples at the reception, which could be used to take a dispenser with water infused with apples or lemon or oranges another nice detail was that on the 11th floor from one to 5 you could drink coffee or tea for free, there was some kind of pie

Wonderful view from the balcony, very efficient room, nice decoration and very relaxing. Near the center,I missed the breakfast but It had a panoramic view of all Vienna .

There was nothing we didn't like. We would have preferred real milk for our in-room coffee in the morning [they provide creamer] and an on-site restaurant would have been an added bonus but, those are minor things.
All the staff are brilliant and and the location is excellent. Both of us celebrated our birthdays whilst there and we both received gifts and cards from the hotel. Our 12th floor room was very nice [212], spacious, and had a great view of City Park and the Strauss monument. The metro was very close and a great Spar supermarket is opposite the metro, with a DM supermarket around the corner from the Spar. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk, as are loads of tourist attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Oh, and the hotel organised our taxi service to and from the airport, which was timely and very efficient.
