Great location with a walk distance to the beach. Beautiful view from the bungalow on the lake. All necessary equipment in the kitchen. Heating in every room even in the bathroom.

The security gates were a problem in the beginning because they weren’t explained adequately in my opinion.

Cottage was old & tired, cupboard doors swollen & falling apart, really old stained carpet, no WiFi connection (even though advertised it had it), old kitchen & bathroom, deck was dirty (but it had been raining)...

Loved the location, lake, outlook, wildlife, feeding the local birds, friendly staff, good price, clean linen, quite location.

Located around a lake so it's quiet and you wouldn't know you're right in the middle of Hervey Bay. Close to the beach, coffee shops and places to eat and drink. Would be great for families.

Building works which might impact on the tranquility and birdlife in the future

Have been before so knew what to expect - lovely views over the lake with wild birds, individual cottages with all necessary facilities and lovely and close to lots of walks and the pub.

Staying with a 2yr old, a small playground would have been an advantage. Cooking facilities were also very limited with only a microwave.

Liked the privacy of the unit, it was clean and fresh inside. The grounds were lush and well kept.

Shower head needed fixing so didn’t enjoy my shower and was not fixed while we were there, no wifi and not fixed while we were there, very disappointing as last stay had the same problem.

Atmosphere is priceless, privacy great very peaceful, close to beach and shops, weathers great, close to restaurants and parks. Shopping complex 2 streets away

Location handy, some construction nearby but was not a hindrance. Kids liked the wildlife. Felt private and quiet. Lots of space inside. Good sized fridge, basic kitchen items were sufficient. Communication and late check in was well managed and greatly appreciated.

We have been visiting here now for just over 8 years. We love the feeling of being away from the city as the lake makes you feel you are away from it all when in reality you are really only 5 mibs drive to shops and i to town centre.

You have your own cabin, no sound from a attached room as in a motel.you have a deck overlooking the lake. Cooking facilities in your cabin, BBQ'S outside, pool laundry. All on site. Lovely staff.

Lumpy old mattresses. Floor under the bed was filthy. A mop and bucket would have been handy for multiple day stays. Under couch cushions and chair fabric filthy. Better communication and instructions for the gate system could be provided in advance. Eg let guests know they will need a mobile phone with credit to open the entry gate and additional mobile numbers can also be used. Very noisy fridge that got very hot around the seals.

The location and space around cabins fantastic. Loved the wildlife and gardens and lake aspects. Well set up family cabin and verandah. Very responsive and helpful managers. Value for money for a family. We booked another stay before we left. Can’t wait!

Lots of security lighting which meant closing the blinds at night reducing the air flow.

I wanted a garden setting not a beach view and I didn't want close neighbours like in a motel/hotel. We loved the bird life although they really do start chirping at dawn (not for those who like to sleep in) and the the turtles in the lakes. Individual cabin with our little verandah overlooking the lake suited us. Close enough to the Urangan Pier and shops if you like walking. Also the back gate gave us access to a local pub and burger joint - lovely! Lots of space for water savvy kids to run riot, bbq and pool easy to access. Friendly staff to help sort tour options.
