The wooden floors and thin walls allows for significant noise to be heard from other guests, especially when they come back quite late in the night.

The Lake Suits was easy to find with a simple self check in method. The location was on a wonderful square, a short walk to the centre, canals, restaurants, and bars. The host was very helpful, with very clear communication. The room itself was a good size and had all the amenities we needed for our stay.

The apartments are in two buildings, which are side-by-side, but when going with small kids is a handicap. The steps of one of the buildings are narrow and set up in a spiral staircase, so a bit dangerous.

Location: right in the centre, with a public parking at 100m, and in a super cosy square.

The room was beautiful with vintage furniture. The owner is very responsive and considerate. They allow you to leave the luggage in the hallway(which also has a toilet) before checking in and/or after checkout. Within 10 minutes of walking you will be near the square where the belfry tower is located. You will be walking along a beautiful canal to reach this place.

For some rooms city tax are included in booking price, but in fact you need to pay it in place. Also tripple and quadruple rooms are displayed as for 2 persons on Booking. Please fix it.

Perfect location, in a quiet neighbourhood of the town, near Begijnhof. A few restaurants and a bakery+tearoom in the immediate surroundings. Great bathroom, with large walk-in showers and double sinks. No restaurant or breakfast in the hotel ( also self-check-in ), but tea/coffee to make in the rooms.

The room was very tatty and hadn't changed since our last visit 8 years ago. There was mould in the shower and between the tiles in the bathroom. The outside of the toilet bowl was dirty, I had to wipe it myself. I had to ask for extra pillows are none were provided.

The location is excellent and has plenty within walking distance. The hotel is easy to find.

Pillows and the mattress were very hard/uncomfortable. So much so that we had to buy a pillow for my wife! We also used the thick winter blankets as mattress covers: we put them both on top of the mattress to make it softer. That worked and after that we could sleep very well. The service was a little unreliable (for example we asked for the shampoo one day but got nothing). So we just bought some ourselves. You would think that those things would be provided but in the end those were minor inconveniences that we resolved.

The apartment sits facing and overlooking a busy plaza with many restaurants and next door to a brewpub. Unfortunately, the wall of windows in both the bedroom and the bathroom are not suited to this situation: they are not sound-proofed at all and the privacy screens are in serious need of replacement. This creates conditions that can be a problem for sleeping. So I find the Booking.com rating of 8.7 to be excessive.

This apartment is very well located, near the train station but also convenient to the historic center of the city.

There was a heat wave (obviously not the b&b fault..) and the room got really hot, with no ac we didn’t get the best sleep. But in normal Belgium weather it would have been great I think. Least, but not last, there was a bit of mold on the sides of the bathtub.

Great location, we walk from the train station and got to see the entire city in one day (next day). Very spacious room and bathroom, the bed was comfy. The room had a nespresso and fridge :)

The room got very hot at night and was absolutely swarmed by mosquitos. The key code system was a bit difficult to remember with frequent comings and goings.

Spacious room with a large bathroom, including a full bathtub. It's located in the heart of the city and is walking distance to all the attractions and the train station. There are lovely food options nearby and an amazing historic brewery nextdoor. The view from the room was quite nice. Check-in and checkout were very convenient (no contact) and the Nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. The heritage elements were gorgeous (exposed wood etc).

Good central location for the town centre. Overlooking a square with restaurants, although did not feel overly noisy at night. Comfy bed!

The bathroom had a strong mildew smell, I had to hold my breath while showering and using the toilet. It looks like there is black mold on the wall as well.

The location was great, it was so close to the tourist spots and cathedrals! The room is super cute and makes you feel like you’re in a cottage.

A lovely place run by lovely people, we were very sad to hear they are leaving this property - hopefully it will pass into the hands of equally caring hosts. The location is wonderful, within walking distance of everything you could possibly need, and right next door to a famous brewery :) It was also one of the few budget-friendly options we could find in Bruges, but the value was absolutely beyond the "budget" category. The room was both cozy and spacious, and the bathtub was great. If I could stay here again I definitely would.

There was a minor amount of noise coming from the street. Otherwise, no issues at all!

This was a wonderful place to stay. About a 5-10 minute walk south of the main square in Bruges, which made it an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go - including that main square/Belfry area, the train station, Minnewater, and literally next door to the delicious De Halve Maan brewery. The room was spacious, clean, and easily the best value of the places we stayed on our trip. The hosts were charming and easy to reach, without being overbearing or in-the-way. Highly recommend!
