Internet! Is REALLY REALLY BAD and I had difficults to do my work! The internet is too bad, nearly every day. At 10:00 in the morning not at all possible to work.

The hotel is really fine, i cant say nothing bad. Staff friendly, Breaksfast good (not super good, but good), Hotel is from the 90th and I think since that no changes in anything but that doesnt matter. Because our price was really good and I did not expect something else. The Sauna was also working. If you are not working remote (see my dislike) I can recommend this hotel. But if you have to work online, i cant recommend it.

Cleanliness in the bathroom with hairs left from someone else and many flies around the shower.

Staff was great and very helpful, also great location close to Copacabana beach but at the same time far from its less attractive sides and in a quiet area.

Very great hotel at Copacabana beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area is abut small but the inclusion of a steam room/sauna is just excellent. Also, one the BEST and diverse breakfasts with daily variations I've had while being in Rio. Clean and comfy rooms. Would recommend 100% to anyone visiting Rio!

The only point of improvement I have will be the cleanliness of the room, and the frame of the windows. Just as a quick note, the pool is extremely small!

The hotel is located right in the center of Copacabana, it’s very easy to walk everywhere. You are 3 blocks away from the beach, 10 minutes walk from the Metro and 2 minutes away from any restaurant or bakery. The staff was very nice, and helpful! The breakfast was very good and had many options. The room itself was a bit noisy because of the traffic (we were towards the street in the 6th floor). The mattress was ok, and you have enough facilities with the room for travelers.

At check out, the hotel tried charging us for using the mini bar, even though we did not use the mini bar. We had a taxi waiting to take us to the bus station and eventually the hotel agreed to drop the mini bar charge, even though we didn't even touch the mini bar. This was a bit annoying, although I am grateful for the staff agreeing to drop the invoice. The lift sometimes took a long time to come, or would go up and down a lot before reaching the desired floor - sometimes we would take the steps instead. Not a major problem but sometimes annoying. The room key kept not working and needing to be reprogrammed, even when staff suggested we leave it with them everytime we went out so that they could reprogram it, but we kept having the problem. All in all, I would stay there again if looking for a budget friendly place to stay in a safer area.

We are a couple with a 16 year old son and we booked a room for 3 people for 11 nights. The property is in an excellent location in Copacabana, we also stayed at a 5 star hotel in Copacabana but thought the Bandierantes is in a better and safer area. The location is set back 2 or 3 roads parallel to the beach, which is a 5 minute walk. Within 2 minutes walk we had a bank (for cashpoint/ATM), launderette (which we used), supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, cafes and restaurants. We had a room on a lower floor, it was quiet and we could not hear any street noise. We had a double bed and a single bed which was comfortable. The room was cleaned daily. Bathroom was clean and had complementary toiletries.

Nothing to dislike.

I had a late check-in due to a flight delay. I only stayed at the hotel for few hours but felt very welcome by the night staff, Marcelo. I specially liked the detox juice served at breakfast. I would prefer a room with natural light and some view but it was ok to put up with room 108 for a short time

Our room keys failed half way through the stay and we needed to have them replaced. At checkout, we were charged for a beer from our mini-bar that we did not drink. The toilet seat in the bathroom would not stay up by itself. :)

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel location was great - 3 blocks from Copacabana beach. Had a view of the Statue of the Christ from the top (pool) floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good wifi.
