Lady at the desk was very accommodating. Parked two cars upfront and she never told us to move it in front of the room. Awesome food options across the street.

The shower. Half of the water came out of the tub faucet instead of the shower head. Pillows are thin, only 2 pillows in total in room.

Lots of restaurants nearby. An inexpensive hotel, 3 star but clean.

Would have appreciated a shelf at the bedside to put glasses, book etc on instead of the floor. Maybe have the heat up before arrival

All was comfortable. Location to Barrie was convenient. Restaurants were within walking distance.

Found the room chilly, and there was no way to adjust the heat. We had a kitchenette which was great, but there is no coffee maker in the room. Would have been really nice to not have to go out to get coffee.

We had a 2 bedroom unit, which was clean and was a good size.

Electrical outlet not properly installed in the bathroom, protruding from wall revealing the hole behind it. Linens need updating, bathroom towels were old. Comforters could be thicker for more warmth.

Beautiful renovated rooms! Comfortable beds you can tell they’ve been replaced recently, and no shortage of pillows!

When we arrived back to the hotel there was no parking available. We had to park on grass for the entire night.

I like the fact they renovated the rooms and plan to renovate the building. I told the owner/manager a few things on checking out and he listened to me and wrote down the suggestion I had. When we walked into our room we were blown away on how nice it was, how big the room was and it came with a full kitchen in a separate room. We stayed here the year before and they were just starting the renovation then. We knew they were updating and they did a great job.

The floors were sloped, the lock on door was broken, the shower did not work well, one of the chairs in kitchenette was broken

EVERYTHING

There was nothing good about this property at all. At check in I was to pay before entering my room that I had booked. When asking how to locate my room I was given little to no information and when finally finding it I was very unsatisfied. When entering the room I attempted to lock the door and when doing so I found that the owner of the hotel (more of a hostel) had broken both of the locks on the door making it so it could not be locked from the inside. When seeing this it made me very uncomfortable and unsettled. I returned back to the front desk and explained my concern and was told “The locks are like that for a reason, we need to be able to get in the room. There is an electrical lock, you will be fine.” After hearing that I explained that the locks shouldn’t be taken off and that every hotel has these locks to give comfort and safety to their paying customers. I then handed him the key and politely asked for my money back as I had not felt comfortable staying there and had found another place to go. He then told me he would get me a refund and after 5 minutes of watching him stare at his computer screen he then came outside and told me he could not do the refund and that he would have his manager do it the following day. When calling the following day to verify that my refund would be made I was told that “when booking online you don’t get a refund” and then was hung up on for asking why booking online would be any different then booking a different way and explaining that I was told i’d be getting a refund. I have tried calling back multiple times and they will not answer. WORST place to book! Do not trust them with your money or safety!

There is no breakfast available. Everything was acceptable but in poor condition incuding bed blanket. I do not think I would come back.

Room was clean, well stocked with towels, TP etc. Heat controls worked well, blind on window was thick enough to allow us privacy.
