It has been a few years since my last stay at the hotel and I very much noticed how run down it is starting to look. Given the rates charged, the location and the hotel brand - I definitely expected a little more.

I’ve stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront at least 30 times in my life for work. The location is great and the staff are always super friendly and accommodating.

The room next to us was obviously set up to be an adjoining room if needed as there was a door in the shared wall. Probably because of this the sound proofing was poor. We could hear the conversation next door.

Easy check in, great location, fast elevators, great view of the harbour. The 2 double room felt spacious. Nice touch to have an umbrella in the room.

Spent our mini-moon here for a few days. We were greeted w/ chocolate covered strawberries & a sweet note. The staff was helpful & friendly. The room was clean, the bed super comfy/soft, and the pool/jacuzzi was awesome. We had the harbor view room (a lot extra $ but super worth it). The view was amazing. The bath robes, coffee machine & amenities were perfect. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better. The actual hotel was fancy & decorated beautifully for the holidays. I loved our stay here and will def return.

I was expecting a newer room reno based on my booking site, most specifically a modern walk-in shower. There was only a regular (and a small one at that) old bathtub with a shower head fixed to the wall (jimmy rigged with a screw.) A piece of the shower’s hardware fell out when I was trying to unhook it from the wall, before I noticed it was screwed in place—this was clearly not the original design. Rest of the bathroom was dated but nice and clean.

View, location, gym, pool, bed and customer service were all outstanding.

very friendly and professional staff! the king bed, mattress and pillows were very comfortable. they still have daily housekeeping. the room are big and the heated outdoor pool was nice. internet was reliable and quick. We were 5 min from Canada line (30 min trip to the airport) and a 15-30 min walk away from all the popular neighborhoods/attractions

The check out time was a little early and check in was a little late, I tried to get early check in but I couldn’t get an answer until an hour or so before my original check in time.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice the beds were insanely comfortable

The property was well kept, clean and cozy. Samuel at the front desk was very professional and amazing. indeed he’s the face of Fairmont. He welcomed with a smile and gave me all the tips I needed to go around the city and the facility.

View was great but you paid a lot more in an already expensive hotel. The front desk process was tedious and disorganized including how to pay for parking our rental. There is a machine so you need to pay there yet the hotel price was nine bucks more. The heated pool was great

Due to covid, these days I do my own cleaning as well. I didn't find the room cleaned up to my expectation. When wiped the surface, there was a lot of dust.

The restaurant was, over priced compered to one across the street. The pool was very nice.

The negative comments I have is the following: when we turned off the lights in the room, we could see still the light coming from the hallway through the cracks around the door which is distracting when trying to sleep. The rooms aren’t sound proof so we heard things outside the room from the hall and from neighboring rooms. The final thing for us was we felt the bed was not comfortable and the pillows offered little head support

The fact that we had to pay for the parking and there wasn’t enough parking space available…also the internet wasn’t free..for a hotel like fairmont it’s really disgraceful
