Make sure not to get a room in the old wing as it felt pretty dated and a bit sad.

Elegant and beautifully located hotel, featuring lovely views of the Lausanne lake - i asked an upgrade for a room with view and i didn't regret it - also probably one of the most quiet hotels i've ever been to, sound proof could pass a bomb test - had the most pleasant sleep! And the pool is really nice as well!

No hotel lounge or bar to relax in. There were two sofas in reception but very open and not suitable plus no drinks were available there. The lift broke while we were there. The bathroom sliding door was temperamental, it really needs to be replaced. The rooms could have been a bit nicer given how beautiful the hotel is. I think they need a refurb.

The location was great, nice to be by the water and away from the centre of Lausanne. However, the metro was around the corner from the hotel and was very easy to use. The hotel provided a free metro card for our stay. The pool was lovely. The room was spacious and from the outside a very beautiful hotel. There are plenty of eateries nearby. There is off-road parking if needed.

Number of steps you had to climb to get to my building. Also lack of lobby/lounge where you can hang out and meet other travelers.

We did not eat at the restaurant due to wanting swiss food, restaurant is high end Italian. We could not figure out the heating system although it stayed comfortable.

Location on the lake was great. Good walking trails, close to metro which is easy to use.

No porter after 8PM. I had move my luggage by myself. This is a 4 star hotel and the expectation is good to have minimum comfort for their guest who are arrive late. It’s not highway motel.

Nothing, everything was great!

The location is superb, the hotel is situated on the front. The rooms are really spacious, with tall ceilings and a large bathroom. Our room had a bath, which I loved as many hotels only offer showers. The room comes with both curtains and black out blinds. Outside, there is a pool and other facilities.

We had made a couple of special requests ahead of time which were agreed by the hotel. One of these was met after we chased them up several times, but sadly the other was not met at all. In addition, during our stay the teas we consumed were not replaced and it would have been nice to have some herbal options provided. Again this was requested but never materialised. We were surprised and somewhat disappointed by these things given this is a 4 star hotel where we anticipated an extra level of attention to detail.

Our rooms were spacious and quiet with good quality beds and aircon so we slept well. The hotel is perfectly situated opposite the lake and very close to the metro exit. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Having the swimming pool was a delight in the hot weather. We didn't use the spa or facilities in the sister hotel across the road but for some that might be a nice option. All in all it was a lovely stay.
