the one evening we had at the hotel to watch the sunset there was filming going on so we were not allowed outside in the outdoor bit of the pool. this was fine however some notice beforehand would have been appreciated

amazing hotel with incredible views and great spa facilities. great breakfast too and really friendly, helpful staff. we really appreciated the free bus journeys into Lugano they were really helpful.

I was super disappointed because I couldn’t order food from bar and from restaurant to my room…. after a whole day of trekking and spa I was dreaming about some nice dish in my bed with a movie or anyway in the silence of my room. When I called the room service they explained me that it’s only possible to order from snack list to the room… huge pity… otherwise my stay would be just perfect.

Beautiful place located in the middle of forests and trekking paths. Cool pool/saunas area.

an average breakfast, with nothing out of the ordinary, on the contrary. something needs to be changed, refined in the kitchen, it is below the level of a 4-star hotel with pretensions, both the organization and the offer

I really have doubts if dogs should be allowed in the 4* Spa hotel which should deliver a relax and rest to its clients. The issue with the barking dog was solved quickly nevertheless it happened and destroyed the athmosphere of that weekend. Quite challenging road up to the hotel with with lots of bends.

Great stay in a beautiful hotel with one of the best views from the balcony I ever had. Very nice spa area with therms and external hot pool - also with a view onthe Lugano lake. Additionally the external summer pool was still open so we could use both of them. Very tasty and varied breakfast on the restaurant's terrace. Very helpful and guest oriented staff at the reception. We really appreciated their intervention with the barking dog in the next room.

- There are elevators, but there are only stairs between the reception/lounge area and the elevators. We were travelling with a baby and a stroller, so not that easy. - Kids are only allowed in 1 of the 3 pools, so maybe not the best hotel when travelling with kids. However, it's perfect for a romantic getaway as a couple.

The hotel is located on top of the mountain. The views are stunning!

Such a beautiful hotel high into the mountains above Lugano. The outdoor summer pool and bar was a gorgeous spot to enjoy the sun. We then went to the spa and did not realise how beautiful the views would be from the outside pool! It was incredible. There were so many different areas to the spa to relax in. The restaurant had lovely views but I didn’t find the choice of food on the menu great, maybe there was a better selection at the bar. The bar had a man playing piano till 11pm this was great! Room was great, balcony had an amazing lake view.

We LOVED it!!! First of all the staff is the kindest and most professional staff you could imagine to meet. Thanks to all of them! The location is perfect, the SPA is great, all is clean and the food is super good (I just want to see a pizza on the menu...). Go there you will never regret it! Not only we will come back but we will advertise it to all our friends.

Facility is in a bad need of maintenance/upgrading. Rooms and restaurant are way overpriced (CHF49.00 for two small pieces of frozen fish). For 400.00CHF a night you get a minimalistic room, noisy heater fan, n on-functioning wall USB charging point. for a continental room service with low quality migros yogurt and croissants which are not fresh served on a crowded tray you pay CHF35.00 + CHF 10.00 delivery fee. The spa area is ok but the jets have missing parts and are don't move much water, the circulation outlet on the bottom of the pool does not have a cover and a child could injure his foot if it goes into it.

The breakfast every day is the same, the location of the hotel was misleading from booking.com the the hotel wasn’t corporative with us at all. The bed sheet detergent was very strong, i got allergy from it, the pillow is super flat which hurt my neck

Be careful to check the location of the room. If it says «view over the surrounding park» that means: No view on the lakes. There are rooms to the back-side, where cars are parked and you get the noise from the kitchen.

The general view is spectacular. You can take lovely walks in the area. Lugano isn't far. The SPA-area is quiet and cosy, you can enjoy the view sitting in the hot water.
