The hotel is located on elevated ground on slopping slope to hotel entrance which is slippery after snowing . It is risky for senior traveler to walk to the hotel .

Do not go there. Registration was a big fail. We had to walk far away to a different location to register after we arrived at the apartments and pay (a second time) the city taxes, because they say that the machine at the entrance the machine does not work and the machine charged us $70. We called from the apartments and the people who answered the phone were very rude and did not care. After that awful moment, we entered the apartment and the entire place smelled strongly of curry, the bathtub had hairs, as well as on the pillows and the bedspread. Every time we exited or entered the building we had to be cautious about the job site around us.

Received an email with access code the night before I arrived. When I arrived at the property there was a message on the screen to say self checkin not available to contact reception via an intercom. Another guest told us that we needed to go to the hotel reception to get the access card and not to use the intercom.There was no map to show where the hotel reception was located. Just a message that said 5 min away. As it was snowing it took about 10 min to find the hotel reception as it was the other side of the river. Then had to walk back to property. Disappointed that the email received the night before arrival did not say to go directly to hotel reception to check in in stead of an email giving me an access code for the accommodation.

Self check in machine malfunctioned so we had an issue with our final payment. Staff came to our door and was rather rude about it, though this was probably due to his limited English. It needs to be made much clearer that the apartments are part of the 4 star Alpen hotel complex and it really makes more sense to go check in there as it is only 5 minutes away.

Roomy apartment with a promised view of the Matterhorn. Each of the three bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Easy to make and eat meals.

there was a slop up to the apartment. so luggage is kinda problem to push up. It is also not suitable for elderly. Also, there is quite a distance to the main station/town area. have to take a bus or walk approx 20-25 minutes.

The apartment was big and nicely furnished. We had everything needed for a week vacation with friends. Good value for money. The place is great when travelling with a dog, there was even a bed and bowl in the house for our dog. The apartment is walking distance from town and not far from the ski lift and the bus is just across the street.

It would be nice to have a washing machine and a dryer somewhere in the building (paid by coins) instead of having overpriced (it is my personal opinion, maybe it is normal for Switzerland) washing service. But unfortunately that seems to be typical for stays in Zermatt.

The WiFi was terrible. You cannot depend on it. My daughter wasn’t able to turn in assignments that were due from the apartment. The kitchen needs some more cooking utensils.

We got the 3 bdrm penthouse. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The apartment was very nice and large. Huge entry and just super nice and updated. Bathrooms could use an upgrade, but were perfectly acceptable as is. A great place to gather with friends.

the kitchen could be better equipped. For example, no wine bottle opener and a small selection of pots, pans, spatula.

We have stayed at residence Patricia before. The apartment is nice size, comfortable, modern and clean. The ski bus is an easy walk from the apartment. The ski room has an awesome boot drying rack.

Most hotels here, including this, are very overprice compared to what they provide. Car park fee is excluded.

For the room, it is very new furnished room and very clean. The location of hotel is in front of ski lift.

Twin beds as requested were not separated out on arrival, so had to wait for this to be done. The oven was not clean and the door of the freezer compartment in the fridge would not close properly. It would be helpful to have things like foil, cling film and paper towels in the kitchen area.

Great view of the Matterhorn. Warm and spacious apartment and lovely big bathroom. Very convenient location being close to Zermatt and Gornergrat train stations. Easy access to the relaxing spa and supermarket nearby.

For a single traveller the 'apartment' it is essentially a hotel room with a stove and non of the perks of housekeeping and receptionists (I expect it's excellent for an entire family to get the full benefit of an apartment), walls are paper thin and the lighting a little dim

Spotlessly clean, good size room, bathroom and bed, Zermatt is absurdly expensive for eating out so the fridge and stove is extremely handy!
