It's a beautiful place, the kitchen isn't crowded, I was able to cook and relax as well. It's a quiet place, close to everything. The person who helped us was very friendly and kind. We arrived a bit earlier then check in time and she had already prepared our room, made me very happy. Both Susan and Samantha are awesome. Susan asked me a day before what time I'd arrive, after our check out, she let us leave our things in the office, weal we waited for our bus to arrive. There is a mini fridge in the room, where we were able to store a lot of things in it. They clean the room everyday. It's located in the middle of the town, walking distance from a bac bank, grocery stores, restaurants, bars. We were able to see monkeys. It's a beautiful place. It's an expensive town, i eat out a lot but I also cooked. I didn't mind eating out but if you're on a budget, its best to cook. It's an average of 25 000 colones for two per meal including possibly 2 drinks, depending on what you get. Roughly 20$ to 30$ a meal, excluding drinks. Just a little tip I wanted to add.

The room never got very cool with the air conditioner, but just barely enough after being on for 30 min or so, and the bathroom remained quite hot.

great cabins circling a nice little pool. big trees dotted around with monkeys lazing on the branches. Staff were great. really cool and helpful. Susan organised me a taxi to Brasilito for a great price. The German owner was cleaning the leaves out the pool in the evening as it had been very windy. Very personable place. Next to a supermarket, next to the mercadito and the skate park. Altogether a great place in Tamarindo.

This hotel is actually cuter in person then the pictures posted. There are individual villas/casitas, so you have privacy at all times. Plush vegetation and decor make it very picturesque. We swam in the ocean every day, so didn't use the pool, but saw few people at times in it. Samantha at front desk is amazing and very knowledgeable to point you with any information needed. Full kitchen available if you want to make your food. Great location and only 1 block from main street and 2 blocks to the beach.

Perfectly situated in Tamarindo, quietly nestled away steps from the Thursday and Saturday market. Felt super welcome and safe. Staff were so helpful getting coordinated for activities and very knowledgeable of the area.

The staff is amazing, the place is so beautiful, with a lot of nature and you can see animals. Really pretty and in the center of Tamarindo. Best experience in Costa Rica ! The room is good, with everything you need. And the staff helped us make our stayed special.

Maybe there needs to be a bit of sealing in the room. saying that you absolutely can't totally avoid this in Costa Rica. Quite a few ants got in, but it was quickly sorted.

fantastic location, feels isolated but is in the centre of town. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. The pool was frequently empty, so we had it to ourselves. Nature all around you and certainly not noisy despite where it is. This is an absolute plus for me and many others. There are a couple of sweet resident cats just to give the heads up for cat lovers or haters.

Well I hate to say this but the pillows could be upgraded. I can deal with a semi hard bed, but you have to have a good pillow😊 The hole family’s thoughts.

My only criticism is that the mattresses are very hard. Of course, this is a question of personal preference.

This is a beautiful and quiet oasis in the center of a busy town. Quiet, that is, except for the howler monkeys in the tree by our unit. The staff is superb, the pool is refreshing, and the beach and restaurants are very close at hand.

The frying pans in the kitchen are too old so it is too difficult to cook eggs in them without having them stick. A dresser for clothes would be handy in the bedroom.

The location was handy because it was close to the beach as well as restaurants and shops. We liked the tropical feel with the palm trees and resident iguana. We wished that we would have seen the monkeys too! We also liked that it was quiet with a smaller number of guests rather than a large noisy hotel.

We were told we could do laundry since we were staying more than a few days. It could have been my own ignorance, but I was surprised how expensive a small load of laundry was. We most likely would not have used that service if I had known before.

Well equipped communal kitchen with complimentary coffee. Nice pool area! The pool and pool chairs were always looking very clean and inviting. The mattress was not the most comfortable, but also far from the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. The front desk ladies and security and cleaning ladies, etc. were all incredibly sweet and helpful. All of our neighbors were very nice and friendly, and noise was not an issue. Location was perfect - right in the city center surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a grocery store right next door, the beach was <5min walk.
