The night shift receptionist was not at all welcoming (one with long hair). Was not willing to talk properly or listen to any requests. The middle aged man and his wife (working together in the morning shift) were extremely courteous. They went out of the way to make us comfortable.

Problems with car parking near by hotel. There is optional parking place, but it costs 8€ per night... We had a no smoking room, but in fact there was a smoking smell. At breakfast was some cold menu, but warm dishes was not so tasty

- far far far from city center (10 min walking to reach bus station + 40 min to reach Charles bridge with bus!) - breakfast is not so varied , every day is same - if you take a room in gas station side , it would be so noisy - one of reception that I don't know the name (an 45 years old man with long black hair) is su wird and doesn't answer question properly and generally makes bad feels on you - bad pillows ( not comfortable )

The breakfast was very poor..no vegetables, no scrambled eggs for example, and almost everything is ready and not cooked at the hotel.

The Man at the reception (Peter) is the best ever!!! He is so helpful sooo Kind and so lovely!! He was always there for us, has even drawn a map for us so that we could have an idea about the transportation in Prag. Peter you are just perfect thank you!!!!!

Luke warm water

It is worth pointing out that this is a basic hotel, rather like a Spanish hostales or a rather dated Travelodge (for English readers of this review!). The price reflects this and no criticism is attached to my description. The ease of getting to the area by public transport was one of the reasons I choose the hotel, as well as its price on Booking.com. It is well served by buses. Check in was easy and I was fortunate that the check in member of staff spoke basic English, so my Czech basic phrase book wasn't required. I arrived at 1330, but they still checked me in. Considering I left home at 0345, this was very welcome. The lobby area and the waiting area were very clean and tidy. The room was clean and tidy, but with a few minor flaws. The en-suite bathroom had a bath with shower attachment. The shower head couldn't be used (wouldn't point towards the bath) and the hot water was lukewarm at best. The small fridge wasn't connected, but I managed to work out where the socket was and all was well. The breakfast was basic, but with a wide variety of choices and again, within the price range of this hotel, perfectly reasonable. My interaction with the staff was minimal, so it is hard to pass on any useful critique in that direction. (Those I did meet were friendly). There is a lot of construction in the area, but no noise early in the morning or in the evening. There are few bars/restaurants in the immediate area and there is one supermarket about 500 metres past the Shell garage.
