“Altenau is a very beautiful village. we walked all the way to the B&B from Clausthal-Zellerfeld on a beautiful hiking route. B&B Orchidee is very cozy and the beds were really comfortable which is very important after a long walk up hill😌 Breakfeast was good and the house is just so Homey🏠 (maybe also the fact that it is a dutch B&B, we didn't know that when booking!)
Ther area of restaurants for dinner is close by and there is a great greek restaurant and also a great backery just around the conrner (follow the aroma!) to buy some lunch for the road.”
