The quality of mattresses was not so good, we couldn't sleep properly. The hotel is old with plenty of carpets around, so the smell in the corridors and in the room was not as fresh as it could be :)

The location of the hotel is perfect - just in the town center, facing gorgeous view of Alps and Constance Lake. Breakfast in the hotel was also quite good. Liked the idea of good tea in the Spa/Pool area.

I feel that the Booking.com customers get less desirable rooms and they tell you that they’re fully booked. Our balcony had a 4 foot wall that limited your view of the lake unless you were standing.

Breakfast not as top end as the rooms & facilities. Charging for car park a surprise & , at €19/night could soon mount up.

Best location on Lindau. Our beautiful & spacious room, on the 1st floor, enjoyed a balcony equipped with sun chairs/beds directly overlooking the habour. Staff very helpful & friendly.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent in quality and variety. The hotel is well located with an excellent view of the lake from the dining room.

A few things could be improved for a 5star hotel: - really poor Wi-Fi in our room (either very weak or kept losing the signal) - smart tv did not work and no English tv stations except news (for rainy days) - no tea/coffee facility in room

I am now somewhat disabled - there is no handrail available at the front entrance and consequently access is rather difficult (what tere is is obstructed by planters)

We have stayed at this hotel about five times and always try to include it in our itinerary if we are in the area it is so good. The first time I arrived by train without my wife. This was before booking agencies existed and I saw this hotel just 50 yards away. This was most convenient and I immediately booked and found the facilities to be superb with a wonderful breakfast. I telephoned my wife and said we must come here next time we were abroad the only time in several years I have ever done this.

When I first saw a room it had been clear that a smoker had stayed in it. It smelled poorly and the beautiful harbor view was obscured by faulty blinds which could not be pulled up all the way. Upon notifying the front desk I was given another room which was wonderful.

The location was great! A view onto the harbor and it’s icons! The restaurant was good and the breakfast was excellent, located towards the harbor with great views. The room I’m was cozy, design “classic elegance.”

No tea or coffee facilities, 6coat hangers to hang clothes on remembering we were there 2 weeks had to go and buy some.We were put into a room on rear of hotel over looking staff and delivery entrance, so noise until late at night and early morning.If you wanted evening meal you had to walk to sister hotel 50 meters on.You asked for my opinion and to say overall our summer break cost us with Hotel flights and train fares around £5000. So No our holiday was not what we expected from a 5 Star Hotel. To be frank about this Booking. Com have always put us in hotels where we have put in the rear . We have now learned a valuable lesson.

The typical European pillows that provide no support.

The location right on the harbor was perfect. The room was very large, light, and bright, with a great view from the balcony. The breakfast was extensive and very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
