The room was not cleaned properly each day and the bathroom had a foul smell coming from it throughout the first day. Lots of marks and stains on the walls and the bed headboard. Required 3 modes of public transport to get to central Berlin, which took too long.

Reception staff were friendly and the room was a good size. Pool was an added bonus.

Elevators broke down so had to use elevators from different wing and walk

Swimming pool was a bit too much disappointing. There was now supervision. Some young middle east teenager gang appeared at one point in the swimming pool area, dressed up and with boots on. Nobody to kick them out. Also the water quality was really bad, with some microparticles floating in the water...

Hotel facility as expected. I stay here time to time, when I am visiting Berlin for various reasons. Good breakfast and nice hotel room.

There was no free of charge wifi in the check out day. Frankly saying, it is not likely to understand the logic behind this ridiculous policy. Come on we are in the 21st century, free internet is a human right.

Room was clean but not "deep clean," e.g. I noticed someone else's nail when I arrived, the toilet was not super clean etc. I had a bit of an argument with the staff regarding sauna which was already cold/off at 8:45 even though it should be open until 10 p.m. I understand that the hotel is trying to save energy but at least they should follow their own rules. I then got (almost literally) kicked out of the sauna at 10:05 even though the pool area is supposed to be open until 10:30 (and I was late because the sauna was cold before).

Room was large and comfortable, I slept well. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of cereals (which I like).

Finding the notice in the room to go to the pool side with towels from our rooms only to find they are providing towels at the pool.

The rooms were well clean and comfortable. I found the location a bit far considering it was my first time in Berlin and there was no easy access to shops around.

bed lights too bright. lights towards the pool area much too low light, and in fact the ones in the mens xhanging room was turned off, even the pool area was open.

Did not like that smokers were able to smoke right at the entrance and exit of the hotel , there was no dedicated area for smoking away from the entrance, this happened for my entire 3 day stay , it’s very disappointing

Parking. Okay they have a garage but it is like 1.8m high so if you have a van you can park it outside on some random street.

It was good value of money. Staffs was very accommodating excluding to the one work in the kitchen, a little older woman that was a little strict look and smile too little. It’s was hard to approach and a little sarcastic replies. Maybe she just had a little bad day that 2 breakfast we had.

Local area appears run down. Room was very uncomfortably warm with no air conditioning so we opened the window which didn’t help and infact ended up covered in mosquito/insect bites. For this reason, we would not return to this hotel.

We booked for easy reach to Olympic Stadium for concert, which was great. Train live very close for easy access to tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping was not available when we checked in. Wanted some tea bags and milk. Housekeeping was not approachable. Asked reception, he said he alone is available so he can’t do anything.

I booked a twin room but got a double bed. The steam bath was broken and the sauna was already cold at 9pm, although it should have been open until 10 pm. Furthermore some people were wearing swimming costumes in the sauna and didn’t use towels although it was a nudist sauna.

The staff was slightly unfriendly. Also, since not all the bathroom accessories were available, we had ask several times to get those. Breakfast was good but not worth 19 euros (in terms of variety)
