the bedroom is simple but it was clean and nice, spacious bathroom. staff was super polite and helped us with everything. location is nice, and they gave is access to public transport which was great. excellent breakfast!

There is no lift and I was on floor2. Lack of a comfortable chair despite 3 "dining" chairs in a single room.

Location, Staff were lovely and helpful (directions and advice on restaurants nearby). Breakfast was excellent - full spread of "German Breakfast). all fresh produce a and plenty of it

The pillows on the bed were very soft. I found it a bit difficult to get comfortable on them since I am used to much firmer pillows. Thankfully I fell asleep quickly because I was tired from hiking around in snow, but the pillows were the worst part of the room.

I really liked the breakfast, both the selection and the dining room. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The inclusion of the bus ticket and the Lindt Santa were unexpected but greatly appreciated! The shower was also nice and hot with good pressure.

The desk could have been slightly bigger, if I were to pick holes, but largely it was a very pleasant hotel.

Very clean and broadly well-equipped room, located in a suburb on Konstanz with perhaps now the most frequent bus connections into the Altstadt (the municipality give free bus use to overnight tourists), as well as convenient for the Meersburg ferry. The staff were lovely, the shower was great and the WiFi worked well.

I would have liked a kettle in the room so that I could make a hot drink.

Really clean. Friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent value. Lots of choice of different foods. The garage for bicycles is excellent too. You can even charge your e-bike. Close to the ferry across the lake and a Penny supermarket just around the corner. Good wifi.

If there is one thing I would like to see is mosquito nets in the windows. The heat in the summer makes it necessary to keep a window open at night, but there is nothing to keep mosquitos out

Our room was located at the front of the hotel on the main road, this meant there was a bit of traffic noise, as the windows needed to be open for air. The rooms located at the back of the hotel would be a quieter. We did not take advantage of the breakfast at the hotel, but we found there were not a lot of places close by to find a breakfast (There was a Schneckenburger not too far away, with one bench on the sidewalk.)

Really lovely room, comfortable bed and nice linens. The tourist tax provides you with a free bus pass. Buses are close by to get to town and come very frequently. Just under a 10 min walk to get to the local park on the lake with great swimming. A fan was provided and was needed as the weather was hot while we were there. Ferry to Meersburg, just down the hill.

The hotel has no place or any patios where we can meet outside the rooms. Having a place with some seats outside would be nice.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was accommodating and provided good advice on restaurants, rental bikes, and visits. The parking at the hotel was convenient.

The pillows were very uncomfortable and only one per person; the window blinds couldn’t close; the room was quite small, basic and facing a noisy street. But with closed window it was okay, except there is no AC so then you need to use the fan provided in the room.

Very good breakfast buffet and walking distance to the Humboldt Institute, ferries, supermarket, bus stop as well as a walking/jogging trail near the fields and lake. It is far from the historic center of Konstanz but easily reachable with the buses for free using the complementary bus ticket provided by the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel.

- We had a room across the reception and the room door didn't insulate sound very well, so we could hear almost everything that went on at the reception (and vice versa, I suppose).

- You can park for free right by the house - The personnel was very nice and helpful, explained how to get to the city, to Mainau and we got a public transport tickets
