The walls are thin, the water running loudly in the morning in the next room, you can hear the talking and the doors opening - a guaranteed wake-up call. The equipment is slightly worn.

It was my first time staying with a shower cabin in the same room. You can take a shower inside your room but when you have to use the bathroom, you have to go to the corridor. Therefore, there was a bad smell coming from the drain of the cabin. Due to steam inside of the room, there was moisture. Yes, my biggest problem was the bad smell. The hotel is very old, so you cannot expect much more things.

The location is the best thing about the hotel. 5-10 minutes to UBahn by foot.

The only hot item for breakfast was a boiled egg, and coffee was really weak. Other than that the breakfast was tasty and good value for money. The sink faucet dripped.

Nice location on a quiet street, close to U6 line metro station. The walls of the buildings facing the courtyard are nicely painted. The parking is easy to get to and seems cheap given the location in the city. The staff was very friendly. The room was big, with high ceiling adding to the feeling of space. Overall I felt that I got great value for my money.

The area immediately around the hotel is a little run down and uninteresting — but it is PERFECTLY SAFE! It’s only a 20 minute walk to very interesting areas. Hotel is well served by public transportation.

This is a not-for-profit hotel — the only one in BERLIN. The money goes to support Christian charities. I am not a Christian myself, but I love the idea of doing things for OTHERS, and not simply for profit. The people who work in the hotel mostly (maybe entirely, I am not sure) come from the Christian community behind the hotel. They have a special connection and commitment to the success of the place. They care about it, and therefore really care about you, the customer. All staff are very open and friendly. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO PRESSURE REGARDING CHRISTIANITY — YOU ONLY LEARN ABOUT IT IF YOU DO A LITTLE READING AND ASK A FEW QUESTIONS. Place is very quiet. Breakfast is ample and good.

*The plugs were not close to the bed *The hotel was not very modern in style. *We were given a key not a fob style to top this off the doors were hard to open the walls were extremely thin we could hear people coughing from the other room. *There was also hair in our beds which made me question if it was from cleaner or previous guests * The breakfast was not hot food

The bathroom could do will a little refreshing but it did the trick.

We were pleasantly surprised that the room was more modern than on the pictures. Breakfast was simple but effective and the staff was very pleasant. The walk to the metro station was approx. 5 mins. We would definitely stay here again!
