It's a lovely, old hotel. There is a lot of space outside for a walk. It was clean. Great for a short stay on budget.

Very good breakfast, the host is very generous. Location is close to a town in the middle of nature. The host gave us great advise on restaurants.

When making the booking prior to our trip we had filled in our expected time of arrival between 17:00-18:00. On the day of our trip, coming all the way from Stockholm, Sweden, the weather was very stormy and we had some delays on the road so we arrived to the hotel at 19:30. When we arrived at the desk, the man at the reception was very unpleasant and spoke to us in German very rudely and angrily. We said we didn’t speak German but he didn’t care and kept almost shouting at us because (as we understood) we were late. His lack of effort to communicate with us and his very obnoxious behavior really didn’t make us feel welcome at this place. He just handed us the key and was very rude overall. Considering that according to Booking.com, checkin times at the hotel is between 15:00 and 21:00, and that we arrived at a reasonable time still, this attitude was really not justified and made our arrival after a long day on the road really unpleasant. Also, all the common areas smelled like cigarette, though the room itself didn’t.

The room was very spacious and clean. Quiet area.

Owner was not nice person at all. He complained I hadn’t informed about the small dog we were travelling with, even though I had put it to my booking details (weeks before staying!) and also messaged them several times beforehand through the booking app. I also tried to call them four times, but they didn’t answer. Finally on the day of our arrival they wrote in German through the app that I should email them if I wanted to contact them. But they did not tell their email address at the booking.com page nor at the booking confirmation. They also refused to speak English, even though I could not speak German more than few words. They completely ignored me trying to show I did tell them about the dog weeks before in the booking and messages, they just kept on going about the email. How on earth can anyone email them if they don’t even tell their address anywhere!! Do not go unless you can speak German.

Very big rooms, so much space to stay! Own kitchen and bathroom, which was really good. Soft, nice beds. Very good for a family, enough space. Lots of towels for use, clean place.

I came by car at the early evening, the receptionist/owner was very friendly. The room was small but very cosy; the bed was very comfortable. In all, I highly recommend this hotel!

Not very friendly people that manage the hotel. They smoke in the main lobby, also where the breakfast room is, which provides a horrible smell. Also during checkout the (sometimes unfriendly male owner) said to me while I was packing my bags, "zahlen zahlen"!! (pay!) and made a finger payment movement. Extremely rude since ofcourse I know I pay at checkout with the return of room key. Further more the booking.com info clearly showed that breakfast costs €7 per day, however at checkout thesame unfriendly man said "no, now it's €8"!. Finally, the cleaning and daily add of bathroom accesoiries is very sober.

The man speaks no english. One smile would not get him dead, but on the other hand… Dogs were “allowed” but we were kicked out from the dining room because of the dog. In the country where one can enter the shop with a dog
