I missed slippers and vanity kits. Though I liked the breakfast here, I personally don't think it costs 20 Eur per guest.

Very comfy beds and pillows and noise isolation was superb. Just what is needed after a long day. The room was super clean and didn't seem worn out. Also they put two glass bottles of water, thank you for that. Good breakfast, I liked the hot station with fried eggs or omelette.

Very old-fashioned room design, 2010 LED TV in the room (if you need it, of course).

Nice and quiet room, very friendly and polite staff, perfect location near the city center. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of meat and fresh fruits. A swimming pool and a gym also are available.

Not as good a TV package as I expected from a Marriott, and the tea/coffee maker poorly stocked. Only minor quibbles.

Excellent location, friendly staff (including a free drink while waiting to be checked in), and a decently sized clean room with plenty of room to walk around the (comfortable) bed. Good sized bathroom as well with a good shower.

The Swimming pool has limited access because some swimming classes use it too. In itself not a problem but it would be good to be told when.

Great location and comfy bedrooms. The beds were pn the soft side though.

The hotel took the payment for the stay TWICE plus 50 euro- without any notice- I realised only in the room checking online bank account. I had no chance to agree or disagree on that! They hotel told it is for their safety- I think it is a pity the hotel do not care for the guests’ feelings and safety. Now I wonder when the money will be back. I have never met anything like that to double charge a guest plus 50 euro. If I knew about that before booking I would definitely choose another hotel- especially for that price and for the price 25 euro for the parking place per night.

At check-in the room allocated did not have the King Size bed that I booked. It took about half an hour to change that after I found out. This was unpleasant, especially as it was already close to midnight when I arrived. It was fixed in the end though. The room did not have a refrigerator/mini-bar which I found odd for a Marriott hotel.

The location in the center and close to the railway station was perfect for my needs. The historical town center at a small walking distance. I liked the breakfast and the friendliness and helpfulness of the breakfast staff. Parking in the shopping center across the road was convenient as well. Good to know if parking there that when the shopping center is closed there is a side entrance around the right corner (as seen from the hotel). This side entrance will open by touching a device on the right hand side with the coin that comes out when entering the parking garage. The king size bed on the 7th floor had a mattress that I liked, i.e. not too hard as I find in many other 4 star hotels.

The arrival wasn't really smooth. We were considering to change to another hotel at first. When we took our room the air conditioner was on max, even the weather was cold. We asked them to change it to heating mode but it wasn't possible. We have to wait 3 hours to have an electric heating. Ridiculously, there was no fridge in our room!!! When I complained they told me there is no fridge in some room because the management had instructed to stop them. Next day they managed to put a minibar fridge on its designed place. No coffee machine in the room even that was written in Booking. There was a kettle but no instant coffee. They were locking the accommodation fee in advance, which is not really guest friendly. There are some layout problems in the bathroom, for example, the door opens to the toilet and the toilet brush is on the left hand side. No liquid soap in the bath. No towel dryer in the bath. The free wifi is very slow, but the payed wifi is too expensive. The plastic mattress protector felt very cheap, I have never experienced this before. No written feedback was requested on place which could be a good tool of continuous improvement. The staff has compensated all the disadvantages because they very accommodating.

Our room was silent most of the time. The staff is very kind and ready to help. Breakfast is excellent all the time. They could serve us with gluten free bread and muffins. The furniture was very nice. We had a bathtub. For request they served us with an electric heater. They were managing to receive my package at the reception on a very flexible way. The room was big.

Noise outside from the street in the middle of the night 4am.The windows and curtains did not isolate it. The “restaurant” looks more a fast food.

It is a Marriot hotel so it is a good hotel. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. The location is in the city center close to main square. They have a private parking but you can park the car opposite to the hotel in a public parking

The air conditioning system did not manage to bring room temperature down. Our stay was to short to see if this got fixed. The complaint however was noted professionally, instantly.

Breakfast excellent, Room was very nice and suited. Overall the house is slowly changing to more durable rooms and services.

We asked for the quiet room and indeed have not heard anything from the street as the windows went simply to the other building but we could hear conversations of all our neighbors and people in the hall. So would be nice to somehow invest in better noise isolation. And it seems the furniture was not changed since the hotel was opened so some refreshment would be good.

Great breakfast, very comfortable beds although rather narrow. Swimming pool is really great for children. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Also perfect location.

This hotel was as pricy as those comparable in larger cities. Marriott is charging "capital city" prices in a much smaller market. Perhaps we were paying for the accessibility to the train station.

Five minute walk from the train station with lots of restaurants to choose from. The hotel was quiet despite being a part of the busiest part of Leipzig. We did not eat at the hotel, finding better breakfasts down the block for half the price. Double room was comfortable for two of us.

Hotel is easy walk from main train station. A grocery store conveniently across the street and many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Historic Old Town was close and very convenient to get to. Hotel front desk staff spoke English and were helpful in choosing restaurants and how to get to other areas of Leipzig by tram. Room was clean and a generous size, elevator available, and coffee bar/ club bar in lobby. Also, hotel supplied extra pillows per my request.

The pool is seriously old and needs updating. Scrambled egg was not good - cold and yuk.
