“We only stayed one night enroute from Bilbao heading to Madrid. The accommodation was immaculate. Our apartment consisted of two rooms: one living room/kitchen area and one bedroom with bathroom facilities. The apartment was very well decorated, clean and had all of the amenities for self catering. The lady on reception was incredibly friendly and patient when I attempted to practise my basic Spanish skills. Breakfast was nice and simple. The accommodation is in the small, picturesque village of Molinos de Duero and a short walk to a local restaurant called Bar Elena. We had one of the best pizzas we've ever had there and the bar tender/waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly. The village is also in the heart of some stunning countryside and hiking trails which, unfortunately we didn't get to attempt. The area was very peaceful and quiet but this may have been the time of year we were staying here...Either way, can't recommend enough!”
