Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe hotel is a little remote from the main areas of town and not walkable to most of the places we visited, but the Metro was walkable and we would recommend the Hola Barcelona card for the unlimited Metro.
The room was as expected and was able to accommodate our family of four. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an add-on, but had a good selection. The property had a nice looking pool, but we weren't at the hotel long enough to use it.

DenmarkThe spa area and bathrooms in the rooms need a refreshing. It's a little bit dated and worn down. Nothing else besides that.
The staff is very polite, we felt welcomed at the hotel. The breakfast was very very good, with a wide selection and quality food. It's a bit of a walk to/from the closest metro, 15minutes but for us it was fine. The hotel was very quiet (good sound isolated) we slept very well and the beds were very comfortable.

FranceIt is a little far out of town so can be quite pricey on taxis but there is a metro stop 10 minute walk from hotel a bit up hill on the way back.
Comfortable. Great breakfast buffet and coffee bar also that serves good quality food throughout the day. Good facilities in the bedroom.

GermanyA minor comment, which is totally fine for me, but could be an issue to some people is that the isolation of the rooms is not super well, and you can hear some sounds from neighbouring rooms.
The hotel is very good in general, everything is as promised in the hotel description. It is clean, the staff is friendly, helpful. I want to also note the following case that happened to me. The batteries of the safe in my room were out of charge, and the maintenance came super quickly within ~5 minutes to replace them.

PolandSome amenities, such as one-hour earlier check-in, are only available for an additional fee. There was a non-working safe in the room and only one glass for two guests.
Staff was very helpfull. The location is quite good - less than 10 minute of walking distance to subway station and bus terminus. Swimming pool was open long hours.

NetherlandsIt is a bit further from downtown but with Barcelona's excellent public transport not difficult to reach. No restaurants in the neighbourhood. There is one in the hotel but we did not try.
Breakfast was amazing! That is in itself worths to go back for! Pool was nice and open late. Bed was very very comfortable. We could see the Sagrada from the balcony.
