Food could of been a little better

What a great place for kids! Pool was a stand out for our kids, kids club always had great activities, food was pretty standard for an all inclusive and all the staff were so kind and welcoming! Rooms were clean, enough room for a family. Beach was easy to access.

The pool water was insanely cold, my kids loved it but they both got sick. I struggled to enter but could see it was not too much of an issue for all the kids. With the amount of sun the hotel gets, this could be easily addressed with solar panels. The thing that bothered me the most is that the hotel night entertainment ends at 10:30, but at the same time they rent a space for private parties with crazy loud music that goes until midnight. They forget it is specially suited for kids, and I felt extremely disrespected because the reception kept updating the time the party should end. First the had told the party would end at 10:30pm, then they mentioned 11:00pm, then 11:30pm and it finished midnight, when they start removing equipment and went loud until 1am. This shows that management needs to revisit their priority and decide if it is the guests or private party.

The hotel is super nice for people with kids, I would definitely not go there without kids. The food was amazing, the hotel was clean and organized, the bed was super comfortable and my room had a beautiful view. The beach is as close as it could possibly be and the employees are extremely helpful.

The specialised restaurants had very limited capacity and if you do not book well in advance you may not have a chance to try them (this should have been emphasised at check in!)- we only managed to secure a booking on one. During meals staff remove finished plates, there were some slots in which this was done almost as you put the last bite in your mouth which was not great at least for us (we like our space). Soft drinks were provided through self service machines but by glass, no bottle. I am a big water drinker so it was a bit of a pain to have to go multiple times during lunch or breakfast as we had a little one to coordinate care and trips for drinks or food. Check in was a little abrupt and we could have used more information about activities and other things - they rely to showcase these through an app but it was slow and crushing quite a bit. All in all do not be deterred from these comments - they are very minor and did not taint one bit our stay. We would love to come back!

We liked practically everything. We stayed in a family room, which was of a great size, kept super clean and had coffee making facilities. Also a bottle of water to refill on the stations available in all floors of the hotel (sustainable and great quality - not weird taste like in other hotels). The food was of excellent quality (and I am Spanish from the North, our standards are quite high! haha), the hotel is really wired for families so there were high chairs and menus adapted for little ones too. The pools had slides and water splashes that made it super fun for little ones but there were also elements just for adults (with fun classess like aquagym or zumba). The hotel is committed to sustainability so they also had a guest sharing scheme to leave items you may not need behind for others to reuse (like bucket/spade for the beach, inflatable things or sunscream). The towels for the pool were of high quality and the beach is just a very short walk through a pasage at the back of the hotel with amazing views. The majority of the staff were very kind and helpful, cheerful and happy (special mention to Paula,Tolo and Cheik!). Every night there was special entretaining (from acrobatics, to dancing, singing, etc). The hotel also have three specialised small restaurants where one can book for some dinners.

The Greek and Mexican restaurants set menu for groups. They don’t tell you in advance that because we were in a group we couldn’t order from the menu, they would have already had a set menu for us. We didn’t like that.

The facilities were great, food was amazing, drinks were incredible, the staff were fantastic. Roof top was outstanding. We were so impressed how everything was kept very clean at all times.

All good! While I had issues with the room allocation, it was resolved immediately. Hotel staff, Isabel, brought an extra bed. Gracias! (I booked a room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed for 3 adults. I got 2 single beds and a sofa - not a convertible sofa bed).

The convenience offered in this all-inclusive option is worth it. Food in the buffet restaurant exceeded our expectations. Thanks to staff at Mistral, Miquel and Carlos, for the last-minute birthday cake surprise, and to Isabel for arranging the extra bed in our room. Staff took extra effort to ensure that guests are well taken care of.

We liked everything. Beach is in front of the hotel, and when kids get tired, you can walk back to the swimming pool. Staff is friendly with loads of entertainment.

It was fantastic for kids and the kids club were very good as well as evening entertainment. The restaurant s on-site were great. We especially enjoyed the Mexican and Greek. Great on beach location with ample pools to accommodate.

There was nothing we didn't like. The one thing I'd say is that our kids didn't go for the starcamp (though plenty of other kids did!)- perhaps a few extra staff needed on that at times but the people who did run it were incredibly kind and fun.

Wonderful hotel, in particular every single staff member was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean, the grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers, trees and easy access to the stunning beach. Our children loved the facilities and we all found the evening entertainment fantastic (I'm quite a sceptic usually). The food selection was great and we particularly liked our mexican meal.

That the A La Carte restaurants weren’t open every evening and we couldn’t book them despite using the app when we arrived.This wasn’t a real problem as the food in the two buffet restaurants was good quality.

The evening entertainment was exceptional . The buffet restaurant food selection was extensive. The staff were always helpful. We all agreed that the cost of our stay was excellent value for a family. We were so impressed that we will be back next year.

The booking system for the restaurants is ridiculous and needs to be better (told by reception that to get a table for a restaurant I need to get up at midnight to book as it opens for the next 2 days)... as a result we only managed to get a booking for the mexican restaurant and only after complaining (manager v helpful though). Suggest it would be fairer to help book these in at check in and limit the bookings during stays so that it is fairer. When we arrived the balcony door in our room did not lock. When we tried to change rooms because of not wanting children to sleep in room with no lock on door- was told- don't worry- it is very safe...! eventually we moved rooms but only after visiting 2 other rooms with the same problem. Inevitably this lead to a bit of a bumpy start to our stay! Reception staff could have been friendlier and more apologetic at this point although manager was helpful the following day. Also felt the place could have benefited from better signage but this is probably a personal preference based on experiences in other places and it was easy to soon find way around!

Very well equipped for a family holiday. So many things for children to do, which was then v relaxing for parents! Fab pools, proximity to beach and enthusiastic evening entertainment. Great choice and quality in buffet. Kids club had a range of activities which was great but the staff to child ratio seemed a little off (2 staff to sometimes 20+ kids.. but they did wear bibs which made it easier to spot them! but we personally did not feel able to wander far from the club while they were in there but that may just be our neuroses!) Sunrises over the beach were exquisite and sunset yoga was super. Lovely clean pools, with so much choice over where to sit. Lots of space and sunbeds. V easy to change pool towels. Lovely ice cream parlour that kids loved. Trampoline was a favourite with our children who spent hours bouncing!

Outside pools were too cold to go in. So while the design was great, we couldn’t use them. They need heating. Corridors need better vacuuming/ cleaning.

The locations of the evening shows were a bit odd. Instead of using the main stage, they took place in locations that were not really appropriate.
