We missed a cutting board in the kitchen (maybe we didn't find one), could have had more dish washing liquid and at least 1 hand towel in the kitchen. But these are not critical.

The location - El Corte Ingles is at the corner, the room was nice and comfortable, acceptable soundproofing, good bathroom, a small kitchenette with a kettle, little fridge, was enough to make our own breakfasts every morning. Will stay here again.

The staple food for breakfast has not changed, there are few varieties, and there are too few vegetables, especially no salad.

Good location and convenient transportation. The room is relatively spacious and the kitchen equipment is basically complete. There are hot and cold drinks for breakfast, and the fruit is also good. The bed was comfortable with good pillows and the room cleaning was good.

There was noise because the hotel takes families with small kids. Apparently, there is no care to keep quite.

Nice accommodation but in my opinion is somehow overpriced. The room was spacious and the location very good. The breakfast was nice.

Secondary bed (foldable sofa) was curved downwards in the middle, fridge was VERY noisy, windows shown an office building across small space below. But the main issue for me has been the process of moving out of some incredibly loud guests from the room above mine. They started stamping their floor (my ceiling), slammed the doors like crazy starting at 5am (possibly early check out). And then at 6am the room service came there and started moving the furniture or something like that. My sleep before the day-long driving was ruined, unfortunately. Should mention that the previous night was good and silent.

Nice neighbourhood, subway station and big shopping mall are nearby. Underground parking with acceptable price 16euro per day under surveillance. Room with very comfortable main beds, big bathroom with a bathtub. Nice kitchen with all necessities, safe box. Room could be separated in two by inner sliding door

Apartment is situated in a nice old building but equipment is old as well. Furniture is very cheap. Kitchen chairs even seems dangerous to use. The price seems too high for such inconveniences.

Good communication, location close to public transport and shops. We arrived late at night ( about 2 a.m. ) due to plane cancellations. From airport we choose private transfer.We were well received .Everywhere in the hotel was clean.We had breakfast (without reservation ) which was a buffet and was good (from eggs to meat and dairy products to cereals and fruits, coffee,tea ...) and cheap (6 euros/person.) ...deserves a 9 . Another day we also cooked in the small kitchen, which was well equipped.The room was ok., comfortable beds ,the bathroom is even better. We asked for a bathroom with a bathtub and we got it. Thank you Atenea ! Late check out can be requested for 20 euros and you can stay in the room until 4 pm. Muchas gracias Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona !

No kettle or toaster in the kitchen which is a basic requirement. Very unappealing bar area, but lots of good bars very close by.

Great room, king size comfortable bed, with daily cleaning service. Really good location, particularly if driving to Barcelona. Close to all public transport. Close to many restaurants and bars. Helpful staff. Parking next door to hotel. Location means very limited driving within the city which is a definite advantage.

The building has aged and shows a lot of wear and tear ( tatty MDF doors and skirting bosrds have started to lift). Poor insulation between the rooms caused us to wake up from noisy neighbours.

Good location and excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly competent staff and plenty of free information was on hand.

It was really an "aparthotel" -- apartment-hotel -- combining features of an apartment and a hotel. Parking was not a problem - there was pay parking next to the hotel, at a discount. Breakfast was also good.
