We didn’t like the room this time, was very poor

We asked for a apartment with a balcony but was placed on the ground floor in a corner apartment with the wind blowing up the walkway which makes it almost impossible to sit outside and read. The walls are very thin as you can hear the people next door talking and above moving chairs around

Location is excellent at the start of a 2 mile walk along a interesting promenade with lots of choices of cafés and restaurants, interesting to see the boat yard working. Good restaurants within minutes of the apartment

Nothing I want on holiday to get rest from work but unfortunately the noise in rooms around me meant I was woken up 4/5 times night not happy glad to be home

The room itself was very basic, with outdated decoration and furnishings (particularly the kitchen area). I could constantly hear the neighbour's radio playing and people talking loudly nearby, although this wasn't a problem at night.

The receptionists were all very friendly. Check-in and check-out was flawless. The location was excellent, with ample (paid) parking on-site. The facilities were good (mainly restaurants) and the proximity to the city was ideal, within walking distance.

Being out of season meant ongoing maintenance works - the drainage was poor, the shower handles were loose and unpredictable. It is understandable

The heating system did not work no english channels on tv And the basement room we were first shown was not 1 bit nice very dingey Also the cleaners were right outside our door a few times but anytime I asked for anything they were not very helpful at all never asked did we need towels or toilet rolls once over the 4 days I thought that was strange

First we were shown to a basement apartment and it was not very nice more like a cleaning cupboard with a very small window with no real view and then I went back to the office and the staff told me they could move me to a 2 bed apartment with nice balcony view but there was an extra charge of 119 for the 4 nights we stayed but that was much better nice clean with a lovely balcony the only 1 problem I had with this was the AC/ heater did not heat so because of the time of year it was quiet cold at night time but during the day it was fine so loved the location and staff were real nice

There’s a bit of noise during day mostly but as we got there early hours, we needed sleep. It was people shouting over to others but for quite a while. It happened last time we stayed too.

Bathroom a little rundown, but didn't detract from overall good experience.

Very spacious bright apartment. Quiet location next to marina. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities, with washing up liquid, dishcloth and teatowels provided. Balcony with sun in middle of day. Comfortable beds. Helpful reception staff.
