Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom- the room was unacceptable to give to clients: right above the pool bar and noise every night until around 00:30. Additionally, every morning there was really annoying noise of dragging furniture around 8-9am (cleaners? Pool bar? Combination?). So definitely not a quiet relaxing stay (we asked three times for a different room and in the last one they said there was only a different one without view available and the one we had it was better in that way and we decided to stay) - two single beds that are side by side but move easily and get separated - the lighting was almost non existent. Very low (lamps beside bed and led below the TV) - cleaning could be much better. There was mold in the bathroom. In addition, the water in the shower went from both the tap and the shower head and the pressure was low due to this (the system to pick one of those was broken). - although there was a huge variety of choices in breakfast and dinner the quality was below average (thankfully because of the amount of choices you could find something good to eat).
- great view with the sea right next to the pool - the cave bar was really beautiful - wide variety of choice in breakfast and dinner

SwitzerlandThe room is regular and they put to beds together which opens all the time. It is ridiculous the situation around the pool. Although, there is signs mentioning that is not allowed to save sits and umbrellas, it is the first things people do when they arrive at the hotel and nobody takes any action. We did not enjoy the hotel pool, as we never manage to sit around there, but as I mentioned before I am glad we had access to the solarium and I could enjoy it a lot and the small pool there. If you want to relax and not get stressed with the pool situation, the best thing is to make sure you have access to the solarium. Regarding the food, please arrive at the restaurant as soon as it is opened for each meal, otherwise you will not have the same quality and comfortable meal.
It is a good hotel, but nothing special. I am glad we selected one room with view which was really amazing. Some days the food was very delicious, but others nothing special. I really liked the solarium which I had the right to go, because I booked a special room. The attraction they offer to entertain people are nice and fun. Drinks we paid were very good. The small beach close to the hotel is very nice. There are some small supermarkets close to the hotel which helps a lot when you have to buy water, as they do not offer it in the minibar.

AustriaRoom was sooo good despite there was a door to the next room I believe which was so shocking for me, but tbh that didn't bother us that much
The room was fantastic with an amazing sea view, breakfast was poor. WE COULDN'T SWIM IN THE POOL cause it was soooo dirty..there was yellow dirt on the edges and I got disgusted when I saw some of them on the water, it was so dirty.. Also they allow ppl to reserve pool chairs with towels which was crazy cause ppl reserve it even during night for the whole stay and you have no chance to get chair or an umbrella cause its occupied 24/24

Irelanddinner open until 9.30 but if you were going up for desert 9.15 or so they wouldn’t serve the special nights desert (e.g crepes etc) sunbeds being reserved wasn’t a problem for us because we got some the first day but can see how it’s difficult for people arriving to find any. more music in the evening around the place would make the atmosphere a bit less serious
the views and direct access to the sea makes this place special! so nice to have the choice of both pool and sea! the entertainment during the day was very good and brought a lot of fun in, although wish the music was played all day instead of the generic pool bar remix music. food is hit or miss, somedays very good and some not so much, the paella at lunch time was lovely though and brought in the Spanish aspect, wish there had been more seafood options such as prawns etc. as far as European all inclusives go, definitely one of the better ones. entertainment at night not really worth staying up for most the time, wish had been in the cave bar as then may have had more of a nice atmosphere. overall lovely location and value for money

SlovakiaArea of the hotel is pretty much nothing. 2-3 restaurants or rather snack bars. So if you didnt like the food from the hotel there isnt much possibilities. Rooms- safe wasnt in the price of the room. 40e for a week i think. And room servise was very nice and make everything clean and great but they would knock on the door and dont wait even 10 seconds. Food- lunch wasnt very good. Soups i trully believe were instant or really quick made. But chicken noodle definitely instant. Seafood like shrimps wasnt good at lunch- cold, mushy. Chicken was very often overcooked- dry. Deserts - good loking but most of them not eatible. At dinner it was way better. But always we found something good. the worst were snacks in the snack bar. Everytime we had something it tasted different 😀 tuna sandwich - one time just dry tuna on sandwich, next time with some vegies. Like i get it, it was quick but the quality wasnt very good. Staff- only bad thing that happen to us was misunderstanding or miscomunication between staff. We asked the night before we went on trip man at the reception about early breakfast (around 6:30-7:00 am and breakfast would start at 7:45) he said that there will be less options but it is possible. When we arrived at the reception in the morning the other receptionist told us that there is no such option for us, he basically didnt know about us at all and wasnt were keen to help us or have a conversation about it. The last thing is what everybody talking - sunbeds. i dont think that its true that there isnt plenty of sunbeds . there is but the “best” with the view are reserved with stuff. We were swimming early in the morning, went to breakfast and when we arrived at our sunbeds somebody (couple from scotland) stole it from us and they put our towels together.
First of all - very beautiful location. Quiet - which we preffered because Magaluf is very busy and noisy. The view from the dining hall i could see everyday. Rooms- very clean and well equiped, we havent hear any neighbors, beds pretty comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean and i somewhere read that there is a problem with warm water but we had no problem with that Food- we had all inclusive so : breakfast pretty much everyday the same but you had big choise from sweet to salty options. The best food was from the live gril so omelets, grilled eggs, pancakes… various options of ham and cheese. Some dinners where themed like mexican, english, italian, asia- best was definitely mexican. But you had options from themed and not themed food which was great. And everyday was some speciality like sushi, proscuitto … on drinks from all inclusive they didnt skimp of the alcohol Staff- most of them were suuuuuuper nice with big smile and positive energy although there was 35C . BIG THUMBS UP FOR ANIMATOR JAVI 👍👍👍 i dont understand how this guy was always positive, and truly care for guests, even when he had time off he was super nice to us. We didnt get a chance to say godbye to him and say that he is really good at this. at any activity he would bring many people to play some game … not because of the game but because of his energy. Activity and program at hotel were good. Bingo, music quiz, flamenco show, live music at lobby - piano, saxophone. We even won the champagne from the quiz night.

United KingdomHardly nothing to dislike. What a wonderful hotel! The only thing Im not giving full star review was because we requested to extend the room/late check out, but it wasn't available at all. However a couple we spoke to were allowed so bit disappointed with that. Pillows were a little uncomfortable and shower water pressure wasn't great but everything else was perfect.
The views are stunning! The food is excellent and lots if choice (hot food could have been a bit warmer). The staff are lovely. Very friendly and polite. Our room on the 11th floor was lovely, clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and will definitely keep it in mind for my next holiday!

United KingdomIn all honesty I felt the standard of food (only breakfast taken) had slipped a little - some of the food items were not as warm as they might have been. The only other thing was the 2 drinks rule per visit to the bar - I sort of get this but when asking for a coffee to go with my Whiskey/brandy as well as my wife’s Bacardi — I was told I couldn’t have it and would have to re queue and come back as the coffee was a 3rd drink!! Seems some common sense needs to be applied here.
The hotel is like an old friend having stayed there many times in the past - it’s position in a quiet bay is spectacular - the staff on reception Raquel Sonia and Juanne were excellent and attentive and offered a friendly service. George in the bar was as charming and friendly as normal.
