the lady at the front desk missed to tell us that the taxi can't come to take us to the train station because of the marathon so we had to run to the metro with our luggage in order not to miss our train. this is not acceptable.

There was nothing I did t last me about my stay

I was really surprised on arrival how well located the hotel, gothic quarters etc & public transport links, airport bus, sightseeing buses etc. the accommodation was beautiful & comfortable, after a hard days sight seeing it was lovely to relax in such a comfortable space. staff were amazing and attentive. We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel in an amazing city

There is nothing to to fault in our stay!

Problems can often arise when you are travelling. Especially with young and often fussy kids. However, it’s the way that the hotel deals with these issues separates a great hotel from an average hotel. However, Catalonia Catedral is a great hotel. David the manager dealt with our issues professionally and promptly, couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough !

Location was great, hotel staff very helpful from Alex welcoming us on arrival, Tino in the restaurant a fantastic character to all the staff who make you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel’s hospitality (we were celebrating a special birthday) with lovely gestures was well received and made the stay extra special.

There were no slippers in room. (not even paper ones). There is hair dryer and iron but no slippers. Travelers do not carry slippers around AFAIK, so, strange. No drawers, cupboard etc except one at the Entrance. Week long stay it was hard to stay organized. Room keys stopped working sometimes. These are minor nuisances that can be easily fixed.

Location and cleanliness is top notch. Beds are large and comfortable. There is a nice terrace to chat and drink but it closes early (8pm) because of neighbourhood. Hot water is always available. Staff speaks English quite well and eager to help. We get a cookie at check in. 😊

The room could be a little bigger (we booked a room for 3), we didn't have much space to open luggages and put our stuff. But since we spent most of the time in the city, it didn't bother us. For families with younger children it might matter.

The hotel's location is perfect. It's very central and quiet at the same time. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was clean and the room service came every day. Beds were really comfortable. The third bed was also decent which for us was important. Bathroom was big and in good condition. Since we didn't buy breakfast or dinner at the hotel, I can't comment on the food. A glass of cavas for each, coffee and chocolates as complimentaries of the hotel was a nice touch. I would choose to stay at a Catalonia Hotel again.
