There was a very limited storage area. A very small area to hang clothes and no drawers for other items. Very limited space in the bathroom. But if you could put up with this, it was fine.

Loved the area but only after we got to know it. Initially all we saw was graffiti and our hearts sank. But we soon discovered that the area had a great community feel. Children were able to play in a very secure area outside the hotel. 5 mins walk to a huge shopping mall and about 10 mins to the conference centre. Plenty of small bars/restaurants close by within a 2 or 3 minute walk. The metro was 2 mins walk which was so handy. Hairdressers, pastry shops, pharmacy and a shoe shop all right beside the hotel. We went to a bar about 3 mins walk awsy which had outside seating and plenty of TVs to watch the soccer. Food was great and the staff very attentive. Staff in the hotel were absolutely brilliant. So helpful with how to get places. I can't say enough good about them. They have a fridge with beers, soft drinks, water and snacks which was great. We often arrived back after a night out to have a last beer and chat that to whoever was on the desk.

Huge bed, no view but it is no problem. 20 min by metro to Rambla or 1:15 walk. Sea nearby. Free tea was very handy: breakfast till 12:00. Check out till 12:00.

When I contacted the hotel they suggested there was parking just over the road, which was fine. When we got there the receptionist said it’s not safe to park your car there, because they often get broken into!!! So a stressful evening wondering if we would still have a car in the morning, to get to the airport. It has a tiny entrance so was quite difficult to find when driving.

I would say, I love the location that very nice close to tramway station but in Barcelona it is better to have rental car, there is close car park around here next road, close to the shopping mall.

I dont know if its for everyone but for our opinion the room wasn't very clean. That's the only minus.

The staff were amazing and the location was just perfect. The tourists attraction was all very close not up to 15 mins away, same as the beach.

A buzzing noise from the ventilation system went on the entire night, which kept me up as it was impossible not to hear it. It stopped second night after 11m. Doors could be changes with others that are actually sound proof, as it could hear anything from the hallways. Also, the heating system is an air-con with a remote control which did not work first night and someone from the staff re-seted the system. Second night same issue, but could not fix it this time.

Good location, close to the metro and a supermarket. Also it was clean and the staff was responsive. Overall I say it was would good value for money. Good to know: rooms are located ground floor and close to reception some of them, if you are a light sleeper ask for a room far from the reception area

The view from my window was the backside of the next building. The hotel safe in the room was not working, but this didn't bother me. The WIFI signal in my room was so weak that I used my cell provider instead.

I had choosen this hotel for the price and the close distance to the conference venue. My room was quiet and clean. Breakfast alternatives and dinner options were plenty around the corner.

Bathrooms could use a renovation. Would be nice to have single duvets on the double bed as well in case people don't receive a twin room. It's just a preference. But they gave us blankets kindly.

Booking page doesn't clearly state, that the room i chose didn't have real window, it looks out onto the internal corridor, but I think it's quite common in Barcelona. No electric kettle available, you can get hot water from coffee machine near the reception for 1 Eur Walls are thin indeed and I could hear other people, but in January it wasn't crowded and people behaved respectful

If you have stayed in other places in Barcelona and keep in mind it's a 1* hotel, you shouldn't be disappointed. Room was clean, looked quite recently renovated. Very comfortable bed and pillows, warm duvet in the winter, heating from AC worked generally well, just once i needed to ask the reception person to restart it, as there was some error, but it kept the room warm. It's a calm area next to tram, bus and metro, many coffe shops and grocery stores around, close to the shopping mall.
