Lovely little boutique hotel with unique blend of antique and modern, great views from the balcony and convenient to the historic centre of Ronda. The staff, and in particular Pablo, were extremely attentive and served a wonderful breakfast.

The pillows didn't suit me.I found them too firm. Although in the morning I noticed extra pillows in the closet, and maybe they were different, I didn't check as I was leaving.

Although the location was great there was no bars or coffee shops nearby. Unfortunately there was no bar or anywhere to get a drink in the hotel. It could do with somewhere to get a tea or coffee either in the room or reception. The pool area needs some attention lots of cracked tiles. More of a plunge pool than swimming pool.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was 10 euros each but it was well worth it. Very fresh continental style with lots of it. Lovely views from our large room. It was a good 15 minutes walk into the town and all up hill. So need to be aware if you don't have a car.

Interesting place with many features. It could use some improvements in courtyard and views to the country side to avoid looking run down.

We booked the hotel mainly for the pool, which was not usable at the time we visited, while their website says it opens from June... we stayed there June 18, so we expected the pool to work. There was air conditioning in the room, but the system was ancient and not working really well (it barely blew any air even on the maximum setting). The mattress was quite hard.

The hotel is very well located, a minute away from the Punte Viejo and about 5min away from the Punte Nuevo. Parking is the street is free and spots are easy to find. We arrived after closing of the reception but the check-in process was easy. The room was big and clean, as was the bathroom.

Outside area could be spruced up, but this was in April and the weather was not yet predictably good.

Breakfast was fantastic, very thoughtfully put together and delicious. Staff (particularly Pablo) were so welcoming and could not be more helpful. Room was big, nicely decorated, and the whole hotel, whilst mostly modern, had lots of more traditional features, such as the thick, carved wood bedroom doors. Area is about 5 minute walk from the busier areas, so quiet but not isolated.

No wifi in room. The door to the bathroom didn’t close and has a window, so you can see everything. No frills in the room. Would expect more considering the high price. Parking was tricky. Not a good value for the money.

This is the best hotel we stayed in while we were visiting Spain. It was perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. The room was comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What stood out the most to us was the staff, especially Pablo. Pablo went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and we cannot thank him enough, he is one of the nicest people we have ever met while traveling and we are very grateful to have met him and to have gotten to stay at this hotel. 100% recommend and thank you again Pablo! :)

Nothing. The hotel staff makes the best efforts to make your experience enjoyable a nice. I greatly recommend this place.

The hotel is nicely renovated. The architecture and design nicely fit to Ronda landscape. This is why we chose the place because we wanted to have authentic Spanish experience and it met our expectations (something that you do not find anywhere else). You will see that the rating for this hotel will go up. It looks like the score belongs to history and that there is a new management in place now. So, the high quality is becoming a standard here. What exceeded our expectations was the hotel staff, including enormously helpful and polite receptionist, cleaning staff and also seňor Pablo who prepared a wonderful and tasty breakfast for us. The price for the meal and accommodation is favorable. We also got the recommendation to a very a nice place for a dinner above the cliffs which was very unique, yet at a moderate price). The hotel architecture and design is beautiful and Ronda is a real gem. All landmarks are close by with convenient free parking on the street in front of the hotel. Ronda really surprised us with its beauty. We must return.

Wow,loved this hidden gem in Ronda.Beautiful building, bonus of a lift. Room was huge, comfortable bed, large bathroom, great shower. Air conditioning was great during the heatwave.Balcony with a view of the great little pool (much needed in the summer time) and the stunning countryside. Quiet location & great sleep. Walking distance to the Puente Nuevo & the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry & the Old Town.We had an early departure & the amazing Pablo had the most incredible breakfast ready for us.Local produce used & the flavours were moth watering & the best coffee, thank you Pablo for the breakfast & for your bright & happy smile & conversation about Ronda & London.Also Lucia on reception, very welcoming & helpful.Highly recommend Canaan Boutique Hotel in Ronda & we will definitely return.

Lovely welcome from the hosts. We stayed in room 6 which was really big - windows at front and a terrace at the back. Breakfast was incredible, and great value - definitely worth getting in the hotel rather than going out. Architectural details have been sympathetically highlighted while looking cool and modern. It is tucked out of the way on a quiet street but still only 2 minute's walk from the old bridge.
