Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only fault was that there was no hot water on the first morning of our stay, however I understand this wasn’t an issue directly related to the hotel and this was quickly fixed.
Hotel was clean, modern and had great rooms, facilities and staff. When I booked it for my friends stag do and I wanted to feel like we were looked after, and the hotel and staff certainly did this for us. We were a big fan of the food top space.

United KingdomThis is such a silly thing to post, but one thing I love about hotels is coming home after a long day of sight seeing and watching tv. Unfortunately the only english channels were the news and that is just too depressing. I really think the hotel would benefit from having at least one american channel, whether it be shows, or movies, or netflix. It would really add to the experience.
The hotel is so stunning when you first walk in, the detail to design and architecture is phenomenal. We were checked in very quickly, given a map, shown local places to dine, told where to walk and what to see, it was so thorough and detailed. The start of our trip was amazing. We had the most stunning corner room on the top floor. The set up, the view, the fully opening doors to the balcony was so special. We were celebrating a very important anniversary and arrived to champagne on ice. It just made the whole trip so much more special. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of details such as make your own mimosas and several fresh juices. Also the breakfast area was very large yet calm, quiet and peaceful. There was also a small pool on the rood, perfect to soak my feet in after a long day of walking. There was also a full bar, and both me, my partner and several guests were on the rooftop enjoying the views. The hotel really does have a lot of special details. The location of the hotel was great because were able to walk to most places, if we didn't feel like walking there were always taxis waiting outside as it is on the corner. I had such a wonderful time that I have been telling friends and family. I know that when I come back to Barcelona I will definitely stay here again.

A group of 8 of us stayed here as we were doing the half marathon. Hotel location was very central. Staff were lovely from the moment we arrived for check-in. There was prosecco on arrival and as the bottle was near empty the receptionist went and got us another. She also brought out some heart shaped boxes of lindt chocolate for us to share. Check in was swift, there was an error (either booking.com or the hotel) however easily remedied by receptionist. Rooms were spacious and comfy. Good powerful shower too. Rooftop terrace was lovely (pool was freezing but then it was february). The girl working in the rooftop bar was also very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend the hotel
