How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The sleeping pillows were not very comfortable, but it is a problem I often encounter in hotels.
Hotel is very well placed, in the heart of the city. Room was clean and receptionist pleasant. We made check-in for our flight back and we send a copy of our flight tickets to hotel email address asking to print them. In less than 15 minutes the receptionist came with the printed documents (I was just preparing to go to reception for this matter). Small gesture, but I appreciated this. Many thanks.

Room was a bit warm, couldn't seem to change that except by opening windows. Shower was bizarre - almost designed to allow water to flow into the bathroom proper (which had its own drain but the floor didn't slope to it well).
Well located hotel for Plaza de Pilar and numerous cafes and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Discounted parking payment via the hotel was easy and very handy. Quiet night's sleep after the interesting Holy Week parade in the street below around 9pm.

The room was hot and the air conditioning did not work, but we resolved that by opening the windows :D so we did not mind it that much
The hotel is situated at a few meters of Alfonso I street, so it's close to all the many tourist attractions. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, we enjoyed our stay.

The location is really good and close to multiple restaurants and bars. The design is modern and matches the pictures listed by the property, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. It was a pleasure for us to spend our time here, I was impressed by the very good taste in decor and the attention to details. The concierge was helpful and kind. Indeed there is a noisy bar across the street, but if the windows are closed this is no longer an issue.

Street side room was very noisy from nearby bar. There is no control of the heat - it was very hot so we had to open the windows which made the noise worse

Very well located hotel. Perfect for exploring the city on foot. Good access by taxi and bus from Delicias station. The rooms were clean, tidy and suitable for a few days stay. Very good price (stay in February). The facility is worth recommending.

A couple more pillows would have been welcome and no kettle was supplied so you could make a cup of tea.
Loved the central Old Town location, the rooms and bathrooms were well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent hot showers.

The hotel rates were a bit pricey. There was also a bit of a foul smell in some parts of the corridor near the elevators. But other than that, I have no complaints.
The rooms were a good size, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and communicated proficiently in English. Whenever we needed assistance, the staff delivered. And the location was perfect as we wanted to be close to the Basilica Nuestra Senora del Pilar.

Breakfast is served in a room from the basement of the hotel.
The hotel is located in an area close to all tourist objectives from Zaragoza casco antiguo, walking distance from the cathedrals of the town (La Seo and Basilica del Pilar), roman ruins, the old stone town, etc. Palacio de la Aljaferia is within 20 min walking distance. New town centre (shopping street) is within 10 min walking distance. Plenty of bars and locals for tapas in the nearby El Tubo.
