The air conditioners in the room were noisy, for me, affecting quality of sleep.

A great family resort that also offered great privacy and pace for adults also in the beach club section. The rooms are well fitted out and modern in design. Plenty of different food and beverage offerings. Liked that even for the buffet a quiet adults only seating section was available. The service and friendliness of all staff was exceptional.

The price has gone through the roof.

We only stayed 1 night. There was a nightclub with good DJ and played the song we wanted straight away. The breakfast was great with excellent service.

Our room had a slightly musty smell due to being at the end of the wet season. Restaurants within the resort are quite pricey, menus are available to review this kind of thing before you go.

Gorgeous hotel with a lovely pool and facilities, we didn’t use the kids club but it was very well fitted out. Beachside location but the beach is not as nice as along the Coral Coast. Room and amenities very nice. Great buffet breakfast.

A near perfect stay for a relaxing family holiday.
    • Leisure trip

    • Luxury Family Room with One Queen and Two Tier Bunk Bed
    • Stayed 5 nights

    * Insufficient poolside sun loungers at peak times. There is a sign up telling guests not to reserve loungers when not swimming but I saw people doing this and no enforcement of the rules. On occasion we would need to have a single, unshaded lounger for 2x adults and 1x child. It was fine in the sense we never really dined by the pool and were usually in the water (so lounger was just used as storage) but would be annoying if you wanted to properly relax by the pool. * Although the room was well-soundproofed from the sliding door/window side (we were in a luxury family room on the ground floor, right by the kids club, and we hardly heard anything from the kids club) the soundproofing from the hallway to the front door was poor. As it's a family resort, you'd hear a lot of kids yelling and screaming and tearing up and down the hallway - and then the parents yelling out after them particularly around 7-9pm after dinner but before bedtime. In fairness to the resort, much of this could be solved by parents instilling some manners in their children and dissuading them from acting up in public, and also not yelling and screaming themselves, but in reality that won't happen and so the soundproofing really needs to be better. * We dined at the Solis restaurant on the first night. Service and ambiance was excellent, but I didn't think the food was up to par for the price (my wife had a salmon dish that was good. I had "beef cheek" thinking it would be a slow cooked-type dish but it was actually a rather rubbery steak). It's not often that I'd rather dine at a buffet when considering quality, but I think the quality of the buffet food was better. * Some noticeable wear e.g. loose tapware and handles - but I did see maintenance guys working hard so credit there.

    * Staff were absolutely fantastic. Best staff at any property I have ever stayed at (irrespective of price point). Nothing was too much, and everybody was so cheerful and friendly. Special mention to Villi (unsure of spelling sorry) who did our laundry each day, as well as Ema (once again apologies if I spelled that wrong) the babysitter who looked after our toddler in the kids club for a morning - she was so happy when we picked her up thanks to your care and attention. * Normally I find buffet food to be average at best, but we had both complimentary breakfast and then paid dinner at the buffet all but one day, and it was overall excellent. Some of the dishes from the fresh/live cook stations were better than what I'd expect from an a la carte menu at a cuisine-specific restaurant, e.g. I had a stir fry dish one night that was better than my local restaurant does, and I think I might have gone for thirds if I wasn't so full. Fijian night was particularly good, and even the Italian night - which we weren't expecting much from - was great. Breakfast buffet was excellent each day, with espresso coffee and a wide selection. * Superb gym by hotel standards. Great equipment and even classes! * Overall solid range of F&B choices (including a decent little cafe) with reasonable pricing considering you always overpay at resorts. * Fantastic pool, with a range of depths and areas to suit everybody. However, the deep part is truly deep at 2.6m so worth being wary if you let kids swim by themselves (no lifeguard on duty). * Luxury family room size was excellent, and the staff fitted a travel cot with mattress and bedding for our toddler alongside the double bunks in the second room - there was even a welcome gift for our daughter ... she loves the Sofitel teddy bear. Only downside is the door could do with closing fully shut, but not a big deal.. * Close proximity to Denarau town/port. Easily walkable ...

A 3% surcharge will be placed on ALL cards when paying for your stay, even if trying to pay for your accommodation via eftpos and not a credit or debit card. Pay by cash to avoid any extra fees if you are cautious of that.

Beautiful atmosphere and well maintained property. Rooms very clean and tidy. Majority of staff extremely inviting, bubbly and friendly. Wide range of services. Fantastic pool environment. Brilliant activities staff. Nickname - “Mr Potato” (Petetone I think you spell it) was absolutely amazing ! So was Rafael!

Our aircon smelled a bit mouldy, that’s the only thing.

Only 25 mins from Nadi Airport and the resort is beautiful and well maintained. But by far the best part is the staff, they are just so friendly and welcoming.

If there was a Happy hour in the afternoon that would have been amazing! Most of the other resorts do either happy hour or have some drinks at 25%off through out the day but this resort did not.

Buffet breakfast was excellent every morning! The only thing I didn't like was that we had to order tea,it would be nice to just have a make your own tea station. The location was perfect! Closer to all other resorts and to the Port!

    So sad to leave

There’s a little bit of noise from those walking last the room but that was minor.

We were so sad to leave. Food - We dined at Solis, Bazaar (Asian night) and also ordered room service 1 night as we had a full day excursion and didn’t have the energy to dine out. The food on all occasions was delicious. Breakfast had so many great options too! The fresh coconut was a real treat! Room - The room was nice and close to the restaurants and swimming pool. House keeping were very efficient and came by twice a day for room service and turn down service. Activities - we had fun participating in the aqua aerobics every morning. There are activities planned each day which is led by the vibrant and friendly staff. My daughter Ollie joined the biggest water splash competition. There was always something to do. My daughter also joined the kids club from 6-9pm for 3 nights which she LOVED!!! She cried on the last night (as did another child) as she didn’t want to leave. That’s a testament to the childminders who were so nurturing and patient. Customer service - Now let’s talk about the hospitality. I’ve travelled to over 30 countries and this is THE BEST service we’ve ever received. We formed some great bonds with a number of the staff and they really made our trip as amazing as it was. They really know how to take care of the kids and made us feel like we’re family. We will especially miss Sana (our favourite waiter who had the best banter), Wise (always stopping what he’s doing to greet my daughter Ollie and I every morning), Epa (amazing service from Bazaar), Kini (best server from Solis) and the kids club staff (all amazing!!!). This place will have a special place in our heart and I’m already making plans to come back! Vinaka to all the staff for making our stay so amazing!
