Adults section “reef wing” a must!

The service was “extremely” slow we sat at the Thai restaurant for half an hour before we were approached & then another hour before we got our drinks. Only after we asked 4 times & had to go & speak to someone. They charged my husband $42 for a glass of wine, & when he said he didn’t want it they poured it back in the bottle, (we were on the drinks package!!) & then had to fight to get it off our bill. They definitely need more bar staff, we wouldn’t get the drinks package as all we did was wait and you get a great happy hour in the Reef Wing. And you can bring in duty free “good wines etc” & drink them on your balcony!

Adults only section….restaurants & pool were fantastic! We would definitely stay back there again

We weren’t keen on Asian food, couldn’t go to the Italian restaurant with kids, didnt want to spend $270 plus drinks for buffet dinner, only choice remained was the beach bar and grill, it was great but being limited to the one restaurant for an entire week is a bit much. Kids club was good, but possibly have the session a little longer to allow for parent to run off (we had a 90minutes massage booked, by the time we dropped the kids, got to the massage, we were late to pick them up)

Buffet breakfast were great. Staff were great and friendly, never have I felt so safe somewhere.

The resort is dated and needs a facelift. There is no USB in my room. The photos on the website are very deceiving. There is only 1 vanity in the bathroom.

They always lacked of enough towels at the pool and most times have to go later and check if they had been refilled.

The hotel is located in very a beautiful setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Wide diversity of restaurants with plenty of choice. Appreciated having a restaurant for adults only for a quiet breakfast. During our stay there was a majority of families with little children. Very convenient for enjoying sea activities, including a good snorkeling reef, and free use of kayaks and paddle boards and snowboards gear. Also a hydrodash floating platform for all to enjoy. The gym is well equipped but quite far from the main areas where the rooms and restaurants are. They were nice and accommodating but they had rarely towels left for gym users. One of the highlights and greatly appreciated was that the room was available at 5:45 am when we arrived after a 10 h flight. We could even enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am and go for a little nap. All at no extra charge. We had a night back home and we also enjoyed a late check out at 3 pm. Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed our holiday very much.

Gastro outbreak. We also had to move rooms due to noise in the ceiling at night but it was not a problem in the new room. Recommend rooms over near the adults only wing as they are beautiful

Location was amazing. Great place to enjoy grandchildren and Biloa Bar staff were fabulous. Easy to get transport to other restaurants away from the resort. Reef wing was lovely and quiet. Lagoon wing was perfect for the young children.

Unable to go to some restaurants with kids which limits your options down to 2 restaurants unless you want to go to a buffet.

Staff made you feel loved and so very welcome. Was there for my birthday and they ensured it was celebrated. Great variety of restaurants, lots of kids meal options and kids eat free!

Given the humidity there were signs of mould in the room and as it’s so large, getting around can be a little tricky if you struggle with mobility. Although they offer cart service to get around the island it can sometimes be quicker to walk to your destination.

Lots of amenities. If you prefer to stay in a resort that has everything and you don’t want to leave then this is it!

I was appalled at your policy of charging F$40 for corkage on a 0% alcohol bottle of wine which is nothing more tha grape juice. My health dictates that can drink no alcohol and indeed many people today prefer not to as well. We spent 3 months touring Eorope last year and had no trouble. In the hotels we stayed in we paid a nominal $6 per bottle. I spoke to your manager and he never came back to me and nor will I come back

Breakfasts were good quality and plenty of variety for every taste at all three locations.

The adults area was advertised online as adults only but when we arrived it was restricted to Reef guests only, confusing marketing when we wanted a quiet swim. Table tennis bats broken, pool table cues broken, bathrooms dated and dirty shower screens.

We liked the buffet breakfast and location on the beach. The Italian restaurant was the highlight and we wish the whole resort was at the level this was!

Fiji in general is an expensive destination and the shops inside the resort were expensive to purchase every day items such as water and snacks and alcohol.

Perfect island getaway with a beautiful beach surrounding the grounds, lovely gardens, clean pools and restaurants and facilities on-site. We loved going offsite to the nearby restaurants - Geckos, Flying Fin and The Junction for more Fijian local Experience.

They have a fab cocktail bar and the only thing that I didn’t like was the music 😝 90s boy bands played quite loudly. It really needed some more chilled out music and a happy hour, I believe it was the only bar without one and never very busy, possibly because of the music and prices. Which was a shame as lovely place for a drink.

When we arrived unfortunately the pool had a leak and was out of action for a few days and only a small pool available. But this wasn’t a major problem as the sea was beautiful to swim in and only a few steps away from the pool. Breakfast was your standard buffet, lots to choose from, so great. Dinners were great, rather busy but it was school hols so to be expected, prices were similar to what you would pay in Australia so certainly more than I had expected even in local restaurants!

We found for the price certain common spaces were pretty grubby, the selection at breakfast was big but overall the pastries, bread and sweets were frequently stale and had little flavour.

The hotel is well equipped with everything you need, pools, entertainment for the kids, organised beach volleyball and soccer as well as restaurants and a good buffet breakfast. Generally speaking staff are very nice, accomodating and generous. Snorkeling on the beach just off the Takali restaurant was great for the kids.

Due to so much rain and humidity we were unable to get our clothes dry- a clothes airer would have been handy. The floor would also become very wet due to condensation if you opened doors too much, or turned the aircon off. My toddler slipped and banged her head very hard on the tiles. I believe this would be the case at most places in Fiji during the wet season. For us - young kids including toddler, and my parents in their 60’s, the resort was a bit too big. We were toward the end of the lagoon wing, and it seemed we had to walk a long way to get to breakfast or pool, then back to our room if we needed anything . This is more so a personal preference, no fault of the resorts. If we stayed here again I would be requesting a room closer to the Lagoon buffet area. After a walk to the ocean wing, the view looked nicer than Lagoon wing.

The lagoon pool was great for families. My kids swam for 6 hours a day! The rooms were big enough, and the big bed was comfy. The aircon was amazing and I found I needed to turn it off at times as it got too cold. Plenty of complimentary activities during the day. Bottled water renewed each day. All the food was great. We ate at Lagoon buffet, beach bar and grill and pool side. And dinner at Takali on the last night- it’s a must! The staff responded quickly after we reported water leaking through our down light in bathroom. We only had one chance on the waterpark but it was awesome.
