“Fantastic 5 star hotel chateau in extensive grounds on edge of Burgundy region. This was our third stay over a 20+ year period to this lovely venue. It has rural peace and historical charm coupled with attentive staff and an outstanding Michelin starred restaurant, set off by a brand new dining room and kitchen. It is is not a cheap place to stay, but if you ate after excellence and fine food and wine, then this will be for you. As an added bonus, you can befriend the various resident creatures such as the geese, ducks, white peacocks and the very friendly labradoodle "Omega". We ate every night in the restaurant guided in our choices of food and wine by the excellent Maitre D and chatted with the award winning chef. about his wonderful cuisine. Desserts by Karina are also a delight... the mango souffle an absolute triumph among a spectacular set of offerings..
We intend to return in 2025, giving France a bit of a wide berth in the 2024 Olympic year.”
