Wonderful quiet location in beautiful area and great to bring your dogs. Very friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Nice big room with coffee maker and cups and glasses if you need them. The dining room area is very nice.

There was no kitchen (just the microwave). The road is pretty narrow and steep so can be hard to access in winter.

Absolutely wonderful, secluded place, in the mountains, at the end of the road. Nice, cosy studio apartment, with a comfy sofa and bed, and patio. Great views, peace and quiet and nature all around you. Restaurant that serves tasty food (I wouldn’t go for the wine though), fondue was really good. Fair choice for breakfast. Location close enough to the town. Free parking and pet friendly. We would love to come back some day :)

Very little room in the bathroom to dry yourself after stepping out of the shower even for average sized people.

well, the weather could have been better, but we couldn't book sunshine :).

The rooms were very spacious and clean and had great view. We stayed here before and we just loved the place as well as the restaurant, which is small, cozy and has really good food. The area is also beautiful with mountains and quaint little villages, castles and not far from Colmar.

Nice small hotel in the woods. We stayed here only one night and we appreciated its quiet location and surroundings. The breakfast was nice with local food. They also have a nice restaurants and the dinner there was really good.

Finding the way to the hotel in the dark can be a hassle, although google maps knows the roads.

We were welcomed and checked in by a guy who spoke English very well. Personnel is very kind and helpful in general. The room was very spacious and the beds were good. Firm pillows. There is a kitchen in the room. The room is old but very clean, as is the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant is absolutely worth a visit for dinner. Go for the fondue! The hotel is situated in the middle of the woods which is really nice. You can watch the birds from your spacious balkony in the morning. Many walks and hikes available close to the hotel.

the problem was/lies with booking: the comfort room we had reserved was listed as having double or twin beds. we sent a mail that we needed twin beds. but when we got there ot turnen out that no rooms had twin beds except the very small standard rooms! those were booked, though! the proprietor arranged for us to switch--lucky for us! on another hotel site it was listed correctly--we saw later--alas!
