We rent the bicycle from the hotel which cost 8Euro for 4 hours. But wanted to use the bicycle for the whole day and asked for the whole day price. The staff did asked the manager and told us that we can use it whole day with the same price at 8Euro, then we went out whole day. After come back the manager keep saying that it wasn't what they want to communicate, the reception misunderstood, and she wanted to charge us 8 hours per bike (16Euro). I told them that this not fair and the wrong communication was their problem. However, after we insist not to pay, finally, the manager agreed to charge us 8Euro.

Location, room, outdoor patio, Staff. Booked a standard room, was upgraded to superior one without asking. My luggage was delivered into my room upon my return from a walk, since I arrived before the check-in time. I appreciated the historical building with modern touch, the location is simply fantastic: central but on a quiet street. The bathroom in my room was large- I have never seen one of that size in Europe in general. Impeccably clean and comfortable. The exterior patio is a great benefit. Breakfast room is lovely and produits bio are greatly appreciated. The options are ample. Absolutely enjoyed my stay, and this hotel will be my choice when I return to Strasbourg.

Our room was partially under the stairs and you can hear people walking back and forth quite loudly. But they gave us free breakfast as an excuse and said that they are trying to solve this problem.

Nice looking hotel very close to the center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a bike storage yard with plenty of space and a bike pump. Breakfast was very good as well

Room and corridors a little tight but understandable in a major town/city. Tried to book parking but didnt have a reply in time - alternative options were available and staff were spot on with directions and info. Towel rail a little difficult to work, but thats being picky!

Breakfast had a small selection and very little fresh fruit. Bread and pastry sometimes used overnight. Bedroom areas are small.

At first we got a room with no closet while we did book a superior room. The staff was nice enough to find us another room with a proper closet.

We asked not to get the room on the last floor with the stairs and the beams in the room and we still got that one, probably due to some confusion with multiple booking and upgrade. That room is a bit hard to access ( take elevator then take the stairs and there is a very tricky threshold + a beam that is between wall and the main stairs...) and you have to be careful not to knock your head going out of the bathroom because of the beam that is right there. TV aren't connected to internet, not a huge deal but an easy thing to improve since wifi works well.

Great location , staff is very kind and helpful, superior rooms are fairly big with very big bathrooms. The breakfast has a lot of options and runs for 4 hours every morning so you don't miss it! Also enjoyed the running/jogging tips in the room. Very clean hotel and lively decorations.

Be careful to check with the staff if you have mobility issues or large luggage, we were a little taken by surprise that our room was in an attic space on the 3rd floor meaning you had to climb +- 18 stairs to get into the room (a few in the common area & a flight inside the room). Not ideal with large, heavy suitcases.

Great location near to old town & sights offering easily accessible, safe parking. Staff were helpful & arranged an early check in on arrival. Room was modern, a good size & well furnished. Good value for money.

Breakfast far too crowded, food not great or resupplied enough. single coffee machine doesn’t work for #s. Shower door leaked pretty badly at base despite our best efforts to keep water away Wish it had been clearer that it wasn’t a traditional hotel, eg fewer coffee/tea and toiletry amenities than expected for the price. Curious to see traditional rooms! They cleaned the room despite my asking not to (there was no sign to hang)

No kettle & tea bags in the room, only Nespresso. Not everyone drink coffee. I was given the parking information which can get discount tickets from reception €22 (24 hours) - €18 where we had to park but when we checked in guy at reception said differently. Anyway, following morning, got discount tickets from lady in the reception. Breakfast room was so crowded. Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly. Had to pull very hard to close.

Our stay began very badly. Despite having a confirmed upgrade to a classic room when booking, we were assigned an attic room with very difficult access. On entering the room we found ourselves in a confined space scarcely large enough for us both to stand in with our luggage. In front of us was a wooden spiral staircase. We managed with difficulty to get up the staircase and heave up our luggage - we are both in our seventies. At the top of the staircase we were confronted by the bed pushed right up against the side and back walls of the room. This meant that the person on the wall-side could only get out of bed by clambering over their sleeping partner or sliding out from the bottom of the bed. This latter option was extremely dangerous, because one slip or loss of balance would mean falling down the spiral staircase: there was no safety rail in place. I felt so upset and disappointed as I had been looking forward very much to our stay in this four-star hotel. I feel that this room fell far short of the standard one should expect from a hotel of this quality. Another receptionist eventually moved us to a much better room, and for that I am very grateful, but I would hesitate to book again or recommend the hotel to others in case the same thing happened again.

The room we were eventually moved to was very comfortable, The breakfast was excellent and it was lovely to be able to take it out on the terrace. The location of the hotel is perfect.
