Our stay at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes was a spontaneous booking due to a last-minute change of plans. We had no particular expectations of the hotel or its staff. This made our arrival at the hotel all the more surprising, as we were greeted with a remarkably courteous, friendly and helpful service. The staff immediately took care of our car and luggage and we checked in with a drink in the lounge. The rooms are well equipped, spacious and, although facing the street, it was quiet enough to sleep with a window open at night. The service in the hotel, from breakfast to reception, concierge and restaurant staff was unobtrusive, professional, courteous, attentive and always friendly and helpful. We have not often enjoyed this type of service in the past. Location, facilities, food and beverage are all important, but first-class staff always make the difference. This is certainly the case at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes. Chapeau and our sincere thanks go to Max, Kathy, Daniel, Louise, Cedric, Paula and all the many lovely colleagues who made our stay such a special experience.

Breakfast: Very good; an expanded selection of vegan muffins and croissants would make it excellent. Room: 2 bottles of water instead of 1 would be more appreciated.

The location is ideal, right in the centre. Breakfast was excellent - fresh orange juice, high end jams and breads, etc... The room was functional and spacy, very quiet. Very comfortable and large beds.

Mattress was a bit hard for us. Room was a bit dark, design a bit outdated.

Very nice experience. We had some personalised welcome gifts and drinks, even for our dog. Very polite staff. Room had everything necessary. Very nice heated swimming pool. We really liked that hotel has parking. I also enjoined SPA.

The restaurant used to be a lot better than it is and you can get better food elsewhere especially in this price range.

It is our favorite hotel in Cannes, very nice staff, good location. A lot larger rooms than you would expect in a French hotel.

No sea view in the rooms.

The hotel is in a prime location very close to the harbour. The rooms are large and cosy. The staff was superb, the service really is up the the 5*. They helped us in every way we could wish. Breakfast ist truly exceptional. And the restaurant has sea view.

Luxurious and smart hotel centrally located. The rooms were exceptionally elegant and comfortable and the staff was welcoming, attentive and professional. The rooftop bar with a wonderful DJ and restaurant were excellent and the service superb throughout our stay. Amenities and comfort were first class.

Restaurant and Bar lacked atmosphere. Not into the music.Needs to be redesigned. More like a night club.Food was nice but could have been warmer .Lovely reception and rooms but the top floor was disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Five Seas.

Breakfast offered a good selection of dishes and the rooftop location provided stunning views of Le Suquet and the whole of Cannes. Our room on the 4th floor looked out onto the church Notre Dame de Bonne Voyage and was a beautiful view to wake up to and our balcony provided a more panoramic view over the town. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Great bed!

Everything. We visited for a special occasion and the staff were incredibly welcoming and did everything in their power to make this an unforgettable stay. The pool area was stunning (nicely heated pool too), the room (junior suite) was very spacious and oozed luxury and the staff were regularly on hand to assist where needed. I'd recommend the rooftop restaurant to anyone who visits, fine quality food with an excellent view and at a reasonable price. It's hard to better all that. In terms of the room, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite which made our stay even more special. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious and had all amenities required. The bath itself was also very relaxing. The free minibar and perfume provided were also very nice touches. It is also worth mentioning how clean the rooms were. It actually smelled so fresh in the room every time we went back in.

Overall we loved the hotel and especially the rooftop pool. If there is one thing that might be able to be improved, it would be updating the carpeting in the hotel rooms that we stayed in, but this is a minor suggestion.

The Five Seas concierge team (Loic, Roman, Nicolas), valet, and restaurant staff were all fantastic! I am very picky and they exceeded all of my expectations - fast responses to requests for restaurant and excursion reservations, helped pick us up and drop us off with the hotel "buggy" at the boat for La Guerite, super nice and helpful and really wanted to see us enjoy ourselves. I would definitely return. Originally booked 3 nights and liked it so much, we stayed an extra 4 nights!
