How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We can find lots of ants in mine and my friends room(3 rooms).
Location is excellent. Metro 5,6,7 station just beside hotel Breakfast is good Staffs is friendly.

Room wall was too thin, i could hear every conversation from guests who were staying next to my room and it was disturbing my sleep at night. Sometimes i could smell the smoke/cigarettes to the room, this hotel should be 100% non smoking. The shower area should be closed space. This way of half wall closed made the bathroom super wet on the floor.
Very clean and tidy with housemaid cleaning for new towels and rubbish cleaning everyday. Comfort bed and pillow with great size for twin bed Super closed to exit3 metro place d'Italie with many buses around. There was a big carrfour supermarket is located just 5min walk, cheap with full of stuffs to buy. Many restaurants were located near the hotel such as La Halte, crazy noodle. Pharmacies and Uniqlo were also located there. Bolt car from hotel to terminal 1 CDG airport cost only 34€. very convenient.

For us was the location perfect. Near the metro station Place d´Italie. Very friendly and competent welcome by Dorian. The room was clean, spacious, modern, quiet and comfortable. Comfortable large bed. Nice breakfast, friendly personnel.

At first, our electrocic key card didn't work on the door of our room. The receptionist tried to open it for us but gave us another room in the end. In this room, the toilet lid was loose so we took it off.
The receptionist was trying to help us when the key card didn't work. He was very friendly and found a solution for our prroblem!

Not much to not like about the place..perhaps just that the walls are a little thin-you can hear your neighbors going in and out or if someone is knocking on the next door.
Great location. Bus stop right i front and metro just about 200m walk down. Nearby Chinatown and a few eateries. Also a few metro lines to choose from, making it easy to travel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lift is small and long wait is expected. The scan of card was often malfunctioned. Nevertheless, staircase is right next to the lift for faster access.
The hotel is at great location with safer vicinity. Less congested with people. It’s easily accessible with metro and buses. The hotel serves good breakfast with balance combination of nutrition which we don’t feel bored for long stay of 6 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cannot adjust thermostat in the room, was freezing at night and early mornings.
It is close to the metro station, which is convenient. The area is also close to a shopping mall, and to many restaurants, has several laundry mats as well.

We got the spam message that we have to pay something additional and that reservation is not valid without that. Later Booking team resolved that situation and everything was ok. Also, they called us from hotel on the day of arrival to said that we paid some taxes and that they have to pay back us that money...that was strange.

Lift was slow and rooms aren’t big enough in my opinion, but it’s an Europe problem not this hotel.
Good rooms and comfortable bed, breakfast was simple but enough choices for everyone. Staff were nice, especially the young gentleman who checked us in around 9pm.

Wash the coffee cups better...cleaner bathrooms.
