The room was very small for two people and a dog.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff were polite and friendly and efficient. The room was small, but fine for one night. The hotel itself was a bit worn, but it was being painted and upgraded while we were there.

Breakfast was quite OK but the staff in charge of the refilling was dressed in a cheap way (totally acceptable for a budget hotel but not reflecting the little plus in quality you expect when you pay a 100 € for your room)

There are only three negatives:- 1) only one person was on duty in the evening trying to do reception, bar and restaurant - the hotel was pretty full so a lot had to wait a long time to be served . It was also very unfair on the poor lady who had to do everything . 2) The entrecôte steak was abysmal - very fatty and chewy and expensive 3) There were a lot of dogs and when I say a lot I mean a lot - we counted at least 12 all at once. This is not good for people who have allergies or are nervous of dogs. Several dogs were uncomfortable with each other which wasn’t a nice experience. I also wonder about hygiene in the rooms, although ours was very clean.

Excellent location when travelling from north to south and vice versa. Good WiFi and plenty of parking. Very good breakfast and good value for money. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Nice and quiet for a good nights sleep.

The rooms are extra small. The entrance to the room is very tight. The window only opens fully, you cant crack it open for the night.

There is a large parking, no problem with finding a space to park.

We should have been told that they are having a big refurb do the corridor to our room was very dusty.

Breakfast was very good but we should have been told that they were expecting a coach load for breakfast. This made the restaurant very busy long queues

The bed was not comfortable, no bed side table to places personal items. Room was refurbished and still had smell of paint and bathroom sealants.

Close to other shops and bars and only 10 minutes from main route south .

We chose this hotel because it has 24 hour reception, after having difficulty checking into a cheaper chain. The welcome was excellent, prompt and kind. Also there is a great boulangerie in the way to the motorway so we had breakfast on the road.

The hotel was in France. I am English and have no French so the hotel menu was difficult. A member of staff tried to translate but I ended up with a meal that I wasn't expecting and did not enjoy. Self service would have avoided this.

Restaurant was unfortunately closed for dinner, due to difficulty in recruiting a chef! But, we were recommended a choice of 3 restaurants, within walking distance of the Ibis. We were not disappointed in choosing 'The Côte d'Or Restaurant' for our evening meal .. superb regional menu, attentive service, & great wine of course!
