How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I found the bed not the most comfortable and the room was a little small compared to other Kyriad hotels I have stayed in. Also, whilst the breakfast was good, it was not quite as good as other Kyriads.
The restaurant in the hotel was good. It was quite easy to walk into the centre of Nevers

The room was small for 3 adults. Very limited choice to eat an evening meal due to it being Sunday. The hotel restaurant was closed and very few open in the town.
Reception and bar area. Warm welcome by staff

Further out of town than I had anticipated.
The hotel was very pleasant and all the staff were friendly and helpful (particularly the reception staff who couldn't have been more welcoming). The car park was nice and secure albeit a short walk from the hotel. Our room (for three adults) was very nice and comfortable. We had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant which was convenient as the nearest restaurants were quite some walk away. The breakfast was ideal and had all that we needed. We walked into Nevers town centre which seemed like a nice town on the river Loire.

The lady in charge of the breakfast was constantly overlooking us. That was really uncomfortable, almost feeling guilty about eating! I would not pay for breakfast here.
The hotel is clean and the reception ladies are super dedicated and friendly. We stop for one night on our way back home. The size of the triple room is suitable for a one-night stay and the restaurant menu is fantastic.

The room could've done with air-conditioning, but apart from that everything was superb.
Excellent staff and great food in the restaurant. Also very close to the Saint Gildard Convent & Museum, which was our entire reason for being in town.

a little far from centre' ville but a nice walk on a sunny day. St Bernadette is nearby. Never was a surprise beautiful parks huge cathedrale ducal palace I had a great dinner at Saint Sebastian bistrot
excellent welcome at front desk. bike storage was good. room was comfortable and roomy enough. I've stayed in several Kyriads and this is one of the best.

The rooms are very small, on the 5th floor AC had to be used continously which make noisyvthe night.
Quiet place, 1km to the old center, nice personel.

One little minus; the parking place is outside (at the back of the hotel) in the open air. So when it’s raining and you’re unloading luggage from the car and set up the umbrella you and the luggage will really get wet.
Very nice, clean, centrally located and close to the Chapel/ Shrine of St. Bernadette Soubirous. Good breakfast and nice staff and service.

The breakfast room was charmless. The breakfast buffet could be improved, especially as good bakeries are a quick 10-12 min walk away.
The service of the friendly staff. There was easy on-street parking available. We didn't need to use the hotel provided parking.

Booked a garage parking and was allocated it efficiently. The following evening received a call from reception asking could i bring the key to reception for some expected quests on arrival to remove their bicycles off their vehicle and park them in with my vehicle. I felt vey uncomfortable with this request. However, on proceeding to reception was informed the other quests were happy with the parking and security cameras in car park and did not now need my garage sharing.
Room was okay, Breakfast was very good, dinner was excellent, parking was very good. Staff were very good Anastasia on reception was outstanding.
