Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe room was very small for the price and the bed was only a double and not the most comfortable.
Great location just off Rue Saint Honare and within a couple of minutes walk of the Louvre.

United KingdomThe room wasn’t what was expected at all. Felt very dated. Oddly, our room had a toilet in one little cupboard type room (no sink) then a bathroom with sink and bath (no toilet). Room itself was very basic, and small details like the aircon (not working) box having builder’s pencil marks still on it felt quite budget.
Amazing location. Relatively quiet yet very central.

GeorgiaThe water in the shower was not flowing well, I barely washed my hair. Also a lot of noise was coming from the hall and other rooms, because of the thin walls.
The location is super, with good restaurants, metro, shopping mall and many tourist attractions nearby.

United KingdomRooms are idiosyncratic. Hotel is in an onld building so floor is sloping, roo.s smal and corridors narrow, but it's clean and safe.
This is my third short break stay at Bons Enfants. You have to realise that this hotel is basic, but its clean and staff are friendly. Rooms are idiosyncratic, so don't expect grand opulence, but this is by far outweighed by location. The hotel is on a side road so is quiet. There are 3 restaurants almost next door which are popular and affordable. We always walk to Louvre, Palais Garnier, Pantheon, Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, Palais royal, Musee d'Orsay., l'orangerie and tuilleries plus many more attractions.. This time we walked to musee d'armee and Rodin museum.

NetherlandsFor us everything was good.
I booked the hotel for its location. And the location is perfect for a cultural visit. The main museums are in a short walk, plenty cafes around, metro is nearby. Yes, the rooms are small, but as we were without a luggage, it was enough for a short stay. Calm street, no night noise. We enjoyed it for a reason we have chosen it.

NetherlandsI would advise to improve the quality of cleaning a little bit ( air hood was not cleaned)
Amazing site staff ( 10 from 10), very clients’ oriented. Amazing location, just next to Louvre. I like furniture and refrigerator. And it was my third time already in the hotel since 2012. And the bottle of red wine of a nice quality, water and tea were there as a compliment. Despite economic crisis nothing was changed ☺️

SingaporeWe are on a short stay so the room is just for washing up and sleeping so, didnt really explore the room or the hotel facilities. However, we do notice that the bath tub is secured with tape, it does have the "old" smell, doors are hard to close or open. To open there's a key card but there's no physical latch on the door so we are a bit worried if the door can be open by anyone outside.
Location is key, it is walking distance to Louvre Museum (5 mins) and train stations (2 mins). Room is comfortable, checking in is easy. There's ample food restaurant nearby. Did not try the breakfast so cant comment on that.

SingaporeHotel is situated in a tourist area so prices can be quite high for food & shopping in the surrounding area. Otherwise, nothing much to complain about. It's one of the more affordable and good value hotel options in this area.
Location is excellent, very close to the Louvre Museum and metro station. The price is good value for a hotel & room in this prime area. Room is pretty and clean, and has all the basic amenities. Plenty of food options nearby but some may be touristy so do your research.
