How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean comfortable double room. Great location very convenient for bus from Rennes and the shuttle bus to MSM is just outside. The staff were friendly and helpful and stored our bags for a few hours after check out.

The restaurant was fully booked and so could not do room service. Every other restaurant of neighbouring hotels was booked too. It would be helpful to know before arriving if room service is not an option or if booking a restaurant is absolutely necessary even in mid-season.
Great location, wonderfully helpful reception staff. Accommodated our request for a quiet room, and the chamber staff prepared the room beautifully.

Our first room was very small; we asked for a different room and they easily accommodated.
Location to Mount St. Michel is perfect. The restaurant Le Pre Sale was better than expected.

I would have expected to have a lift available in the building we were staying in or at least to be warned by the receptionist. I would also expect the entrance and staircase of the building where our bedroom was to be cleaned better than they were. This chain of hotels should be a guarantee of a certain standard as far as that is concerned. I really had the feeling this hotel did not feel it particularly "needed" to make an effort towards customer service (due to its location close to MSM). I wasn't expecting too much of hotels in that area due to the amount of tourists and my initial thoughts were right.
The location is ideal if you want to be close to Mont St Michel. We had dinner at the same restaurant (Le Pré Salé) where we then had breakfast the next morning and the meal/service were both very good. The restaurant staff was efficient and particularly flexible with our wishes. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had recently been renovated. It was very quiet.

This property is within a gated area of small hotels just below the bridge entrance to MT ST MICHEL (MSM). Access tickets for cars was a hassle BUT the gantry staff were responsive. There’s a payment per day. It’s a low rise property so be prepared with heavy suitcases

Breakfast is OK but not exceptional. And this is not the fault of the hotel, but a hint that would be appreciated that one should make a restaurant reservation ahead of time since the limited amount of restaurants there tend to book our quickly.
The location is absolutely perfect, just minutes away from Mont Saint Michel. It is about 15min walking or you can take the shuttle bus right in front of the hotel. If you want to see the the island for sunrise and sunset, I can highly recommend this location.

The beds were uncomfortable but overall a good stay. A little pricey for the type of hotel but I'm sure that was due to the area.

The hotel looked a bit like a motel with some rooms leading straight onto the outside, which thankfully we weren't given. We arrived early and the cleaning staff were at work and the place looked a mess, which wasn't a great first impression. The public toilets could really do with a revamp as very old and dated, though the room facilities were very good. Overall we had a nice stay but the photos are nicer than reality and the hotel is not really like a 4star, only the restaurant is.
The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant. We had an amazing dinner and the breakfast was fabulous also. The rooms are nice and comfortable with all you need.

The door was very thin and I heard everyone coming and going. Also, I didn't realize at the time that parking was additional just to get in the area.
Location could have not been better for access to Mont Saint Michel. I was able to get a last minute reservation. The room was really big and dark.
