We were at the 28th floor and of the 6 lifts, only 2 or 3 were working apparently. During the “rush hour “ - in the morning to go to the breakfast room or in the evening to go back to the bedrooms- we had to wait for several minutes (more than 10 or 15 with little children!). The handle of the bathroom door was broken and we had to wait for 3 days before it was fixed properly.

Room for 4 people was really spacious, quick check in and check out. Breakfast was great also for children.

Maybe the hotel needs a renovation, the bathroom was quite outdated, but still fully functional with a nice bath. The separate toilet has no sink (and is quite a long walk from the double bed).

We had a family room for us and our two kids (4 & 8) and it was a quite spectacular corner suite. Three characteristic windows with views over the river Seine. Spacious and comfortable. Very enjoyable.

The property was fine but trying to organise breakfast to our room in the morning was very difficult. No one seemed to know the process and I spent about an hour talking to 4 different people trying to arrange it, and was eventually told it couldn’t be done.

It’s actually a lot nicer than it looks in the photos. I don’t think it comes across as well in the photos on the website.

The first room was not great. View amazing but pull out bed noisy and uncomfortable. Moved rooms and much better. Breakfast was very limited and not suitable for celiac. I had warned and asked about gluten free at breakfast but offered seeded bread and small cakes for 6 year old. No seperate toaster etc. this needs to be addressed.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower

Huge property, but very well organised. Location is superb, with great views to the river and to the Eiffel tower. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good

The hotel is old and it seems it hasn’t been renovated for a while. Breakfast is of basic to poor quality, and there is a cue in order to enter in the morning. Not very clean neither. In addition, there is no lounge area to hang out, other than just 2-3 couches and a few armchairs. In general, it’s a hotel that because it’s old and accommodates so many tourists every day, it can offer very limited quality.

The location is good. Very good mattress. Very helpful and polite staff.

Good and quiet hotel close to the Eiffel tower

Soundproofing between rooms is lacking. You can hear people entering and leaving adjacent rooms like it's your room. The soap dispenser was empty, our clean towels had stains (cosmetics I hope?). The room looks "tired" with high wear and tear signs and could be cleaned better - stains on the ceiling, spider webs in corners, a bug dangling from the ceiling, doors that take some effort closing etc. A more thorough cleaning will greatly improve the experience and not drag so much attention to the age of the building.

Location is close to the Eifel tower and other landmarks. The hotel looks pleasant. The staff in the hotel was polite and helpful and responded quick to questions. The room was quiet, there is sound insulation from the outside but not from the inside of the hotel. My partner is a light sleeper and noise from the busy outside didn't bother her sleep.

More personal training for some front of office staff at check in would improve the Hotel image.

When we checked in the man was casual and not very interested in us and we were given a very shabby room for our 6 nights stay that had well worn carpet, marked walls, a tv that did not work and even after 5 requests going down to reception each time they said they would send someone up to fix the TV but it was not fixed or replaced so we requested a better quality room for our stay which was agreed upon and should have been done. The first room was also next to the lifts and at night you could feel the lift vibrations in the room and bed. Also this is the first Novotel Hotel that has not provided any milk either long life capsuled or fresh milk in the room and the fridge is only a drinks cabinet that does not keep anything cold so it is useless. We think that some rooms need to be urgently upgraded prior to the 2024 Olympics eg, new paint, carpet, curtains and all the marble tiles in the bathrooms are badly stained / marked and need a machine polish to remove the stains and marks. Our second room we had was much better and was what we would expect at a Novotel Hotel.

The view from our room over the river and city was very impressive. We enjoyed the snack casual meal area in the bar especially the breakfast and Sunday Smorgasbord. All the waiters, bar staff, cleaning staff and the man that helped us down the escalator with our bags on departure and into our taxi was great. Good presentation on arrival with the Easter displays in the foyer and looked clean and well maintained property prior to going to our first shabby room non maintained room. We did strike two very helpful men and lady on the check-in desk the second day that were very helpful and polite to us once to help sort out our poorly maintained room. Thank you to them the but we don't know their names.

Since we went in March, they don’t turn on the AC to save energy. The room was very hot and we had to ask for 2 fans to be able to sleep.

The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was very well located. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and to Lafayette Galleries.

The cold water tap was broken and despite raising it with the hotel staff at the reception, it wasn't fixed. As the cold water tap was broken, the shower water was boiling hot. There was another hand shower though but the water pressure was way too low which made it very difficult for us to have a proper shower. Paying so much money for the stay and not getting basic required service did upset us.

Overall it was good. The room was big and the breakfast was good as well.

The lifts could get quite busy as it is a very big hotel. Hand wash in the room was empty & didn't get filled at any point over our stay, we just used the shower gel instead though.

Great location, easy to walk to the Eiffel tower. Very easy to access train & metro stations. Lots of restaurants & shops within walking distance. Good choice for breakfast.

There was a noise on the lift that started at 4am and (I think it was the lift) that kept opening and closing, and it woke me up every day and I couldn't sleep more. The lift was so crowded that it took sometimes more than 20 minutes to get a lift. Check-in and check-out hours are becoming really ridiculous, we pay for a full day but can only check in very late, with an even earlier checkout.

The location is ok, but for the price, it should include at least breakfast. The hotel room is comfortable. Nice bathroom, but I have stayed at many other hotels with nice amenities at a better price.
