Lovely and modern one bed apartment. Great little gesture off the owners with fresh milk in the fridge and some biscuits. Myself & Partner had a great chilled night of games, Pool Table was a hit with us and also played Table Tennis & Darts :) Now the bed was the most comfiest i have ever slept in, i suffer with my back and i must say this bed was amazing!! I need that mattress 😂. Was also able to have a later check out at a low additional cost which helped us with travelling for an event the next day. Close to the town centre, plenty of supermarkets & resturants near by. Thankyou once again for allowing us to stay in your lovely property!!

There are a lot of windows and skylights which makes it quite light from early in the morning when staying in summer - only an issue if you are sensitive to this (take an eye mask for sleeping!)

Really clean with great facilities - well equipped kitchen and great lounge and dining area. It was a flying visit for us so we didn’t have time to make the most of the living space, but I will definitely rebook for future stays in the area and try out the pool table!

The double bed pushed against the wall so someone has to sleep emmed in!!!! We have a super king sized bed at home so this was really a big no, I had a really poor night's sleep.

Bathroom sink a bit on the small side. It was easier to shower than have a wash. But bathroom was very clean. It would not stop me staying here again. 😁

Everything. Just wish we had had a few more days there to enjoy our stay. We didn’t want for anything. We even had milk supplied for our breakfasts. Hosts were very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat.

I visit my children once a month and this was ideally located. It was beautiful inside and out. There was everything I could ever think of needing. The bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful with microwave, toaster, kettle and anything else you can think of. Outside was lovely and quiet and I enjoyed the evening scrolling through the tv packages, drinking coffee and I’m afraid I ate all of the complimentary biscuits. This morning before I checked out, my teenage children popped round for a quick game of pool and table tennis. The owners were friendly and popped round to ask if I needed anything else. I will definitely book again.

Having to leave!

I travel year-round for work, staying in countless hotels, apartments etc, so rarely do I feel compelled to write a review. However this place absolutely deserves one. It was very easy to find, and nice to be able to park literally feet from the entrance when you have a car full high value equipment. The interior feels spacious and is well laid out. It feels like a lot of thought has gone into making it as comfortable space for guests as possible. The kitchen has all the basic necessities, including milk and water in the fridge, salt, pepper, sugar, even olive oil. Bathroom shower has good pressure and the temp is very easily adjusted. Living room have a large flat screen with Netflix. But by far the best part of the stay was the dart board, table tennis table, and a very decent sized pool table! So much fun and a shame I was only there for one night. I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m back in the area.

There was nothing I didn't like about my stay, it was perfect.

Well, where do I start, first of all, I only stopped there one night but the host was there to greet me to show me the ropes. The house is a new build and is in pristine condition, it couldn't have been any cleaner. Right from the start I felt very welcome by Mark and his wife, the house has everything you need, nice kitchen for self catering, bathroom that is big enough, kitchen that has everything you will need for a long or short stay, a nice living space with a comfy feel and netflix to boot. The bedroom is an offshoot of the living room and I had a really good nights sleep in the comfy bed. There is a nice little patio area at the side where I went for a smoke, a dartboard there, pool table, jigsaws, cards, games for you to play and there was tea, coffee, sugar and even a new bottle of milk in the fridge. The hosts have gone above and beyond to make the stay as pleasant as possible for their guests and I can honestly say it felt like home from home. The price, well I have stayed in hotels for a lot more money that could learn a thing or two from the hosts, the property and the way I was treated are first class and worth a hell of a lot more than I paid. If you are thinking of stopping in Burton or anywhere in the area, forget the hotels and such, you will not get better than stopping here. To Mark and his wife I thank you for a most enjoyable albeit short stay, keep up what you are doing, you are doing an excellent job. David Robinson.

The only mirror was in the small bathroom off the kichen. We suggest a large one in the bedroom instead of the gold framed picture for easy access for drying hair and perhaps a full length mirror either installed in the wardrobe or on the wall.

Skip the Premier Inn (which we enjoy and stay frequently) and stay here when in Burton for the same price! We happened to be the owner's first guests and everything was new. They couldn't have been more welcoming to help us enjoy their property. There is everything you need, especially if you are self-catering.

Part of thier home, Could hear children running around above us. And I'm petrified of dogs n they was running in the back garden. My friend arrived before me, and the owner just walked into the property as she was getting changed, as they could access it from their side of house. Had the music on at a reasonable volume but was asked at 10.40 to keep it down, after paying £86 for the night we felt we couldnt enjoy our catch up.The owner kept talking to my friend and she felt uncomfortable. Property is beautiful but not very private.

The place is clean and fresh. Close to town centre.

My only issue was the mirror above the bathroom sink blocked brushing teeth over the sink.

The property was clean, very homely and perfect distance into the centre of Burton. Even allowed me to use my own apple tv box.
