Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is absolutely fantastic. Close to Green park and its underground station. As well as London’s busy shopping district and restaurants. The entire concept of the hotel is brilliant. Shout out to all the fantastic staff, with a special mention to Roxana, for their attentiveness and attention to detail.

It was just an amazing atmosphere and the building was just stunning. The room, the walls, the decor was themed so well and the finish was marvellous. The waiters and the porters awaited at the door everyday, welcoming you back into the hotel, and the front desk and concierge were so helpful and brilliant in providing us a fantastic stay. The sustainable theme of nature and plants was such a matching backdrop for the hotel and the rooms and everything in between. It was cosy but it felt modern as well and the room design was brilliant. Having a restaurant and cafe in the lobby and the plants and greenery all around, it really isn’t something you should miss. The location was even better than the hotel itself. Located I think 30seconds walk from Green Park station, connecting 3 important tube lines, it is so accessible and easy for travelers and for work. Everything about the place was beautiful and it was a memory that would stay with you forever. Coming to London and having the best time of your life, would not be possible without 1 Hotel Mayfair, and the comfort of return to a home every night, it really was magical. Thank you to all the crew, porters and staff for the stay, it was an experience that none other could match.

Amazing location, very polite and responsive staff, beautiful aesthetics and super comfortable and clean rooms! United KingdomThe only constructive criticism for the entire stay was that the burger from room service was poorly presented and not the best for the price of £39.99. I’m happy spending large amounts of money on food if I feel it’s worth it. This unfortunately didn’t feel worth it. Everything is was exceptional.
The quality of the finish on the interior of this hotel is some of the finest I have seen and I have stayed in many five star resorts around the world. The zen like style and the use of real plants all around the hotel including 4 in the room is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The attention to detail and thought that have gone into the design of the rooms and the amenities on offer are exceptional.
