Simon and Sara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Perfect location to explore Skye and beautiful comfortable home to stay in. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The hosts were thoughtful and generous and very happy to provide recommendations and guidance for our time on Skye. Definitely recommend!

Simon and Sara were amazing hosts and gave us a warm welcome to their home. They were superb in communication throughout the process, from before the stay to pre-book restaurants and contact on Whatsapp during the stay for quicker communication to question. We booked the 2nd floor of their home and living space is perfect for lounging around after a long day exploring Isle of Skye. Each of the 3 bedroom has a full queen and full bathroom which was convenient with a group of 4 people to prepare and shower at the same time. The decorations of the home includes a lot of personal touches which adds to the warmth of the stay. I highly recommend a stay here and looking forward to staying again on a future visit to Isle of Skye.

A wonderful place to be! I can totally recommend it! Thoughtfully decorated, big and clean rooms, with good coffee and tea in our room. We had the best (Scottish) breakfast in their living room. Very nice people! I will definitely come back to Achalochan House!

We couldn't have asked for anything better for our stay on Skye. The room was clean and comfortable and the food served for breakfast was delicious. But what impressed us most was the warm hospitality we received. The hosts were lovely, always attentive to our needs and full of useful advice. I would definitely recommend staying here for an unforgettable holiday.

The hosts were certainly the best we have stayed with. Nothing was too much trouble and they treated us as friends rather than paying guests. Achalochan House was clean and comfortable and while ou room was small it held everything we needed.

The views were beautiful, it was super clean, had everything we needed. They even put up a crib for our little one to use. The hosts were wonderful, gave us tips for activities around the Isle, cooked us gourmet breakfasts to start our day. We just can’t say enough good things about our experience. I wish we could have extended our trip to stay there longer! We hope to make it back there one day!

Our hosts were fantastic with a very warm welcome from arrival to departure, very attentive and caring (for children and adults), lots of advice for activities on the island (and much more) and restaurants (before our arrival and during the stay), exceptional and hearty breakfast, the homemade cakes and the drinks were very very very appreciated, we felt from the start a Mediterranean welcome (culture of welcome and feeling of being with family), perfect hosts exceeding all our expectations and more, we are very sad not to have been able to stay longer and we would be delighted to welcome you to our home whenever you would like, lots of kisses with the hope of seeing you again soon

Simon and Sara are such wonderful couple who share many useful tips of travel around Isle of Skye. We are served with fine breakfast with choices ranging from Scottish, English and continental styles that are not only delicious but also very healthy. We like the tranquillity of the surrounding with stunning sight while it is so cozy and homely within. It is such a memorable stay and wish we could travel back sooner.

We arrived in the dark, so Simon came out to greet us, handed us the key and showed us around. There was homemade ginger shortbread ready for us in the main room, which was also equipped with a coffee machine and a fridge. We were in the family suite comprising 2 separate rooms and our own bathroom (big and clean!) Breakfast was lovely! Lots of healthy choices, there's even homemade granola by Sara.

There is nothing not to like about this property

The hosts Simon and Sara were very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel that way. The little extra touches were very much appreciated, to name but one the little photography guide to the island was very useful.They made us feel as if we had been best friends for life even though we only stayed a couple of nights. The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of options,nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a wonderful couple of night's stay with you Simon & Sara, we will definitely be back 😀👍

We stayed in the bed and breakfast part of the house. Everything about it was ideal.... Location, Facities, Cleanliness, Hosts, Breakfast etc etc. Simon and Sarah were the perfect hosts. It was like a home away from home. Breakfast was excellent. Sarah is a wonderful chef..Simon too. Whatever you need you have to just ask. They will go out of their way to help you. Very vlean and beautiful rooms. Tastefully decorated. Simon gave us a good itinerary to follow, for seeing Iske of Skye.They even packed us lunch when we left for home. We will definitely be going back.

Sara and Simon gave such a warm welcome to their beautiful home. We stayed in the two-bed room bed and breakfast, and it was superb. Sara is a fantastic cook, the home is beautifully decorated, and the location is really great. We were able to see so much and still be 'home' to relax before bed. Achalochan House has been the best stay on our 21 day journey.
