Because it is located directly above the bar, we could hear music and quizzes. Keep it in mind, if you book this hotel, plan on enjoying the night life. Also, we had to turn off the noisy bathroom ventilator.

Great price, breakfast was included and very good, bed was extremely comfy and staff was lovely.

The room I stayed in was clearly above the night dj. I fully appreciate it’s above a pub but the music/bass was so loud- I had to sleep with noise cancelling headphone on.

The rooms have been very nicely updated. Clean, very well kept. Staff was very kind - especially the morning staff! Breakfast was exceptional.

When I got to the room, it was "clean", but then I saw that there was a lot of dust everywhere, and something was peeling off the bed. No hairdryer in the room.

Very enjoyable quiz in the bar the night we checked in, room was gorgeous, everything we could need was provided. Staff were very helpful and friendly, fabulous breakfast options next morning and the staff offered to hold our luggage after check out. If I am back in Manchester I will definitely stay here again 😁

Nothing… this was an excellent place to stay for either work or pleasure. It’s approximately a 20 minute walk from the station, through the main shopping area. The price is amazing value for money.

The room was excellent. I expected that there might be noise from the bar at night, and I heard nothing. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were excellent, polite and didn’t make me feel odd for being a (middle-aged) solo female guest. This means a lot.

Was perfect for a one night stay in Manchester. Staff were great they let me leave my bags on site as I got into Manchester quite early. Room is huge and the shower is elite! For those who aren’t aware the rooms are above a pub so you might hear some music til around 11pm but it was fine. Wish I could’ve had the complementary breakfast but had to leave early!

No drawers in which to store items.Owing to the age of the property there is no lift which would have been useful for the less able

No bedside light and very narrow to get to the bathroom from one side of the bed as tv was in the way and you had to be careful not to bang into it. Small cups but I do like a mug of tea in the morning Towels not a big size

Noise carries a lot was woken up by conversations outside the door and doors slamming but other than that can’t fault my stay.

Nothing to dislike

Very modern room, bed so comfy and shower one of the best. The pub itself was welcoming and its staff lovely and friendly. Breakfast was really good and so laid back. The location was spot on, a 5-ish minute walk from Deansgate, lots of car parks close by with Salford Central train station no more than ten minutes away by foot.

The windows in the room need some kind of secondary glazing for a bit more sound proofing, as we everything going on outside all through the night. Therefore didn't sleep very well at all.

Lovely cosy hotel. Myself and my daughter stayed here, to go to a concert. Hotel was only 10 mins walk away from arena. Room was small, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely. It was raining when we were leaving, and we were walking to train station, the lady that we checked out with gave us an umbrella. A lovely gesture and it was very much appreciated as I didn't bring a rain coat. Will definitely stay again. 😊

Nothing really as I thought was very good. I would say to have bath mats outside of the shower. Evening meal could have been hotter
