Nothing not to like.. just take your own tea, coffee,sugar, etc.. If you don't, there's a Coop 5 minutes away in the centre of town..

Spacious and clean in a great location next to river and above nice restaurant "The Woodyard" Also within 5 minutes of the town centre which offers many other dining and drinking options. Own parking place, which is very good as Bakewell gets very busy at weekends. Also, a lovely bottle of Procecco on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Must have known it was a special occasion.

The apartment was lovely but needed a chest of drawers and a mirror in the bedroom other than that it's great.

The location was excellent. The view of the river was lovely and relaxing. Perfect getaway but easy to get to town as well. Parking was a bonus in this central location. The Woodyard restaurant next door did amazing food and cocktails

For some reason the shower does not empty quick enough so you have to stop the shower for fear it will overflow and wait for the water to go down a little. I would like to have had a spray to clean down with. As a note, some of the doors could do with refitting as they stick or are awkward to shut. Despite these things it was a good place and we would use it again.

Excellent location. Very clean and spacious. Lots of kitchen cupboard space. Comfortable bed. It's good to sit and relax during the evening or day, looking at the river and listening to the birds. Lots of places to eat. Fantastic location.

This isn't a negative. But if you decide to go out to any of the restaurants some of the pubs for an evening meal make sure you book before you arrive. This will avoid disappointment We would love to return with our daughter, but it's only sleeps 2. This could easily be solved by having a sofa bed in the living room. It's big enough,there is enough space for 1

Location was excellent.A 5 minute walk & your in Bakewell. We couldn't check in till 4,as the cleaners were preparing the property for our stay.But that wasn't an issue.There's a car parking space allocated to the apartment, which is great as Bakewell can get very busy. I had an issue with the key code.But the owner answered straight when I phoned him.The welcome pack gives everything you need.I realised I was inputting the wrong code 😂 The apartment is spotless. I did read an old review that stated blankets could have been provided. Certainly not in the case for us. Bathroom has a large walk in shower & an oval bath. Underfloor heating & spotlessly clean. Washing machine, dishwasher, everything you need. The apartment has a lovely view of the river. We would sit & watch the ducks & swans go by 🦆Never once did we put the TV on. It was an extra special weekend as it was my birthday & the first time we've been away on our own since our daughter was born. It was a lovely relaxing weekend. We only live about an hour away,some may ask 'Why somewhere so close, to have a weekend away'. We answer 'why not' That was the whole point of the weekend. To relax, take it easy. CHILL. The apartment offered everything we wanted. Bakewell is very dog friendly 🐶.Nearly all the pubs, cafes allow dogs.We don't have a dog, but that didn't put us of from going for a drink/something to eat.

How lovely to sit with a morning coffee and watch the birds and squirrels - plus, because of the excellent design, turn the lights off at night and chill whilst looking up at the stars. Gorgeous, comfortable appartment, handy for the town, eateries, accessing the Monsal trail plus other local attractions. Clear instructions from a welcoming host. Fab 😊

Bedroom view. Kitchen had almost no oven dishes or trays so could not use it to cook evening meal.

It took us a while to figure out the heating, due to the extreme overnight temperatures we really needed it on. Living room could have been more cozy with rugs and throws (which would have meant the heating issue wouldn’t have been a problem so much) Bathroom floor was a bit dirty but nothing major.

Beautiful location by the river and fabulous view out of the windows in the living room, very comfortable beds meant a good nights sleep. Loved the bathroom and underfloor heating.

An immaculate apartment in a great setting in the centre of Bakewell, with free parking. Despite the central location it was very quiet at night as it's on a no-through-road. We loved everything about this place. Comfortable bed and sofa, great shower, and we spent ages watching the ducks outside on the river.

Lack of mugs/ plates/ cutlery. Would expect there to be 8 place settings- sorry 2 mugs was very poor! This has been flagged by others and not addressed. Car park space could be swept free of mud and bushes clipped back.
