The booking details said the pool was open till end of Oct (we visited early Oct) though when we were arrived we were told we couldn’t use the pool… also It was a shame during our stay there was no gas on the island so they couldn’t prepare any dinner for us.

They went to great effort in the morning with breakfast to still do a cooked breakfast even without gas - thank you !

The whole place feels very dated. Not enough power sockets near the bed to charge phones etc.

There was nothing we didn’t like, however we did feel like the hotel was a little tired looking and could do with some painting and fresh carpets.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough to help. Good location for getting buses in and out of St Helier .

Hotel decoration was a bit tired

Great friendly staff. We were at Hotel when Gas was switched off in Jersey. Staff were accommodating as possible.

the bus by the hotel only runs every hour, and every two hours on a Sunday. There is a more regular bus which is a bit of a walk from the hotel. This is a problem as there are no street lights and the pavement can suddenly run out so a torch is needed if returning after dark.

Lovely hotel but really in need of a refurbishment, we only had one evening meal , it was of a very high standard, breakfast was top class with everything you needed. beds were so comfortable. The staff were helpful and worked so hard to please

Little confusion at breakfast as they were advertising on the menu a buffet style but it didn't happen until the Wednesday Evening menu was good but the curry wasn't flavourful and it was a limited menu So we chose to eat out instead. I placed my towels in the bathroom hung up but for some reason they provided new ones

Room was comfortable and clean good location Staff were friendly and accomplished Bar was well stocked Breakfast scrambled egg with salmon was the best I have ever eaten

Disappointed that the hand rail to get in to the swimming pool was broken. One reason we chose a hotel with a pool as my husband loves swimming but since he had a stroke recently was unable to get in without the hand rail. A couple of guests helped him in on one occasion but the other days he was unable to get in.

Excellent breakfast. Location good and near bus route.

Staff could have been more obliging to guests' simple requests. We made two, neither of which were met. So simple... so disappointing

Internet access was poor - very intermittent and more off than on. There was no socket near the kettle.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool looked good but we didn't have time to use it.

Evening meal could have been lower priced and more choice for us as we are vegan/vegetarian. Noisy neighbours, second part of week, could have had better insulation in walls.

Loved our big room - No 43 with views of garden etc. Loved the big breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and hardworking. Everything was very clean. Lovely situation with fields at the back.

It was very warm in our room and we wondered if a boiler was in the cupboard next to us? A small fridge would be a good addition to the room.

Daily room service was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather was poor during our stay so we could not use the pool area. I liked the herb garden at the back and watched the chef pick them each day for our meals.

The service for dinner on our first night was poor , we only had two courses and we were sitting for 2.5 hours .

A separate shower as I find it difficult to step over the side of the bath The hotel was clean & tidy but many windows had mould which can be detrimental to health Just 2 choices of sliced bread available for breakfast

Nice room with French doors near entrance. Breakfast was excellent with a good range offered. We ate in the restaurant twice. The menu was varied and offered a choice of 5 startes and main courses. The swimming pool was excellent and the area around the pool was well used by residents. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would certainly return.

The menu did not change during our week’s stay which meant we only ate there twice. On the last night, we opted for a bar snack but were told that the chef could not make us anything as he was too busy in the restaurant. The swimming pool was very cold.

Friendly,helpful staff, especially our waiter. Excellent breakfast. Easy parking. It was good to have a bath in the en-suite as hotels seem to be replacing them with showers only.
