There is no on site parking, however parking is plentiful (and free) on surrounding streets.

A very cosy and comfortable room. Tea and good coffee making facilities on tap all day in a guest room downstairs. Good, clear instructions on how to access keys on arrival. Lots of thoughtful extras like advice on various options to visit for breakfast in local area, good local walks to do, umbrellas available for guests to use and also cake left for guests in the afternoon!!

Breakfast would have made the stay a 10/10 and is the only reason marked down for facilities. Although we knew this when booking so not a problem.

The bathroom in our room was a bit small but everything worked fine and not really an issue for a 2 nights' stay.

Very clean and quiet, with a good feel throughout. Loved the little downstairs area with complimentary tea and coffee and all the little touches. The owner was friendly and very communicative with regards to our Sunday afternoon arrival.

Very minor comments. Some more storage in the room would be useful and perhaps the downstairs room open a little later.

Street has a lot of cars parked. It’s also a bit of a hike if you’re going into Bowness

Lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Arrival was very easy although parking to unload was difficult (there is a car park a few hundred meters away).

The host Beth was so helpful suggesting breakfast and dinner at local venues. Which were 10/10. The DD was immaculate and so very cosy .Amazing Coffee at biscuit’s all included in the price. The location is perfect for a 2 min walk to the high st where we found independent shops, restaurants etc

We had a very lovely time staying at The Dozy Deer. It's the small, thoughtful details that made the difference for me, like the takeout cups for coffee, the board games in the coffee room, and the umbrellas by the entrance. The location is very good too, neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet but close enough to the station and to the shops/ restaurants. Had the pleasure of meeting Beth and Callum, and they were both very welcoming. Will definitely recommend!
